Part 12

It had been 4 days since kripa had last been in the hospital, she had not seen Sahil anywhere near her since that day, which made her a bit worried, but she was almost glad, because she had never been happier in her life. She lay on her bed thinking back to the day when Angad had first arrived at the hospital, she had been so scarred when she had seen him.


The door slowly creaked open, Kripa looked up expectantly it was Angad, she felt her muscles tense, she could see clearly that he was not sober, he had evidently drank a lot, but he was not drunk either. Kripa got up from her laying position and got up.

Angad rushed forward to instantly help her, "Kripa ur in no condition to get up like that, u definetly need to take better care of ur self."

Kripa just looked at him her eyes filling with tears, "u are not mad at me?"

Angad wiped away her tears sitting next to her, "Why would I be mad at u? I know how much u loved the baby. It wasn't ur fault."

"Are u upset."

Angad put his head back into the chair, "Upset? Yes, but life goes on. And I know this is not that bad for me the pain that u must be feeling is probably a lot worse. But like I said life goes on."

There was silence b/w them not because they did not know what to say, Angad had many more things to tell her but was waiting for her to respond to ask questions, to do anything, kripa had a question brimming in her mind but was hesitant to ask, she made up her mind, to ask him "Angad where were u, I though u would be the first one to come to me, to yell at me or even to kill me."

"Like I said it was not ur fault, and I had other business to take care of, then when I finally got the news I was too scared to face u, I guess that explains why I am half drunk, alcohol makes facing things much easier. Now something that I must ask u, are u ok?"

Kripa was surprised at this question, she was expecting anything but this, she nodded her head, "I am fine, when am I going home?'

"In about two days."

"Cant I get out earlier! I hate this place already! The food is just blaHHH…. There is white everywhere…and the smell of medicens makes me want to vomit…there is a weird old lady that keeps on coming to visit me in here, telling me about her whole life history and how many dogs she has owned."

Angad smiled, it was a true smile, a smile that kripa had never seen and was glad to be the one responsible for bringing it on his face, "Well that can be arranged, but only if u promise to be a good girl and not even step out of the bed for a week."

"A week!!…Oh ok its still better then this place."

"I ll talk with the doctor, but u will have to stay here today, I don't think ur strong enough, to move yet."

Kripa crossed her arms in anger, Angad smiled once more, "what do want for lunch u don't have to eat the blaHH… hospital food."

An instant smile spread on kripa's face for once she was glad to be married to Angad, he was the sweetest man that she had ever seen, "Ok…I want two Hersheys choclate bar, and then don't forget the hot and spicy McDonalds burger…and then umm….ok yeah there is a Chinese restauraunt by our house get some fried rice for me… and then….

"Kripa!! I said for lunch not for the whole week" Kripa hit him on his arm.

Kripa smiled thinking about that memory, and there she was in her bed, Angad hadn't let a servant come near her he had done everything for her, he was in the kitchen right now making the chicken soup that she was required to have two times a day.

She hated the taste of it but she was willing to eat even poison if it was feed by Angad, it was a weird thing to say but in the past week she had gotten closer to Angad then she had to anyone even her own brother. She was not yet in love, because love kripa thought would not be so simple a feeling. She was simply attracted to him, very attracted to him after all she thought about him all 24 hours out of a 24 hour day.

The phone rang jerking her out of her thoughts, the voice was of Ria sounding worried

"Kripa there is trouble."

"What do u mean Ria, is everyone ok?"

"kripa, I don't know how to tell u this, but no one has seen Sahil anywhere."

"What do mean?"

"We have not heard of him for 4 days, we don't know what to do ur his sister and the person next incharge of Aprika its up to u as to what to do."

"Where is Tarun?"

"He is right here."

"Give the phone to him." Ria gave the phone to Tarun, "Hello Kripa."

"Tarun do anything find him at all cost even if it mean trailing members of Angad's gang."

"Kripa u don't think he has been u know killed."

"I don't know I hope not, I don't think so but… that is the only thing that we can do so far, inform me of anything that u learn."

"Ok"

"see you later Tarun."

Kripa put up the phone but was shocked out of her skin to find Angad standing at the door, "Who is Tarun?"
