Chapter 4

Umm this part isn't related to the promo... cuz i realised many other things had to take place before that... but anyway, tell me how it is! (It's actually kinda weird to me lol)

Chapter 3:

Rajveer's facial expression changed from anger to surprise as he glanced at something behind Bhargav. Naina caught on and followed queue, her change in expression more visible than Rajveer's. Seeing this, Bhargav smirked.

"Trying to trick me Captain? I-" even while saying this, Bhargav turned a bit to the side to check if it really was a trick or not, and Rajveer and Naina took this risky opportunity to pounce on him from different sides. They worked together almost as if one person, just like they used to in the past, but now with more experience.

Major Bhargav was now on his stomach with Captain Rajveer's knee on his back to prevent too much struggle. Naina tied his hands with her dupatta (she actually wore one this time!), and pressed a sensitive part of Bhargav's neck with two fingers, causing him to lose his consciousness. Rajveer looked at her with pride, impressed by his protge. She looked up, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze, and stood up.

"Come on, we don't have much time. He'll wake up in a few minutes!" she told her mentor, already a few steps ahead. He nodded and started to follow her, but stopped on his tracks. He untied her dupatta and handed it to her. Only he knew how much he wanted to wrap it around her, holding her tightly to himself… he snapped out of his daze as he heard more footsteps coming.

They ran to the abandoned street at the back of KMA, taking shelter in a broken temple with an old pandit for some while. Naina looked at her mentor, trying to decide whether she should speak out her mind or not.

"Sir… I'm glad I came along with you… aren't you?" she asked uncertainly, though she couldn't figure out why she was so nervous.

"Glad that you're going to be called a traitor like Naveen and me?" he asked sarcastically.

"No, glad that we tackled Major Bhargav together, that we are getting back our old relationship, that you weren't caught in the trap because of the lack of help!" she replied firmly, then quickly added, "Sir!".

Rajveer looked up, directly into her eyes. He realized that even though he was her mentor, her teacher, there were some things he could learn from her. He swelled up with pride, and gave her his drop-dead gorgeous smile. Naina caught her breath seeing his smile. It stirred up feelings inside her that she had never felt before.

Near the side wall of KMA, hidden by the bushes and trees: Major Bhargav, Huda & Yudi

"Oye Yudiye, you look over there to see if there are any digging marks or not, I'll look- oh my God! Who's that?!" Huda exclaimed as they neared Major Bhargav's unconscious body. Yudi noticed it too and followed Huda.

"Shit! It's Major Bhargav! What's he doing here… unconscious?!" Yudi sniggered seeing Bhargav's state. "Should we leave him here?"

"Yeah… hopefully the b*****d would be animal food..." Huda grinded out angrily.

"Chief, number one, there are no animals anywhere around here except for cows, and number two, wasn't Cap - I mean – uh – Shahrukh and… Phoolan coming this way? Do you think they did this?" Yudi said, after struggling to find code names. Huda's face immediately lit up.

"Yes! Then we shouldn't leave him here…" saying this he whispered his plan quickly in Yudi's ear, stopping when he saw Bhargav coming back to consciousness. They swiftly lifted him up and ran as fast as they could with his weight towards the infirmary.

Around the same area: Ali & Pooja

Pooja's tearstained face now showed not the confidence or determination from before, but wavering uncertainty as Ali lead her (more like dragged her, holding her hand) towards the abandoned street, from where they could escape easily. They climbed out easily and continued their journey towards an unknown destination.

After walking a while, Ali barely saw the broken temple. He pointed it out to Pooja.

"But Ali… that's a mandir… your SIM is…" she trailed off. Ali ignored her, and pulled her towards the temple. Inside very dark, but both could feel another presence nearby. Suddenly, the old pundit lit a light, and welcomed them in, like he had welcomed Rajveer and Naina.

"Tonight is the auspicious night for troubled couples; I didn't think people remembered it though…" he told them. "Today is the first time in years that couples have come here!" Ali and Pooja exchanged looks. A voice from a room inside broke their thoughts.

"Ali! Pooja! What are you guys doing here?!" Naina asked, noticing the couple's hands entwined. They struggled to find a reply for that, and then looked down in shame, remembering that they were given a very important mission. Pooja sighed and told her the truth.

"Then what are you two waiting for? Punditji, get these two married! Naina and I are witnesses." Rajveer said, surprising them all. The pundit happily agreed, getting the necessities ready.

"But Sir… our mission?" Ali asked. Rajveer smiled reassuringly at him.

"Abhimanyu, Dr. Shalini, Aalekh, Yudi and Huda are there to carry out that mission. You two can still be a part of the mission, but only if you're willing to dedicate yourselves to it completely!" They hesitated at first, weighing out what was at stake. Both realised that they hadn't blown their mission and still had a chance to prove themselves, so they agreed, first Ali and then Pooja.

"Great! Now, ready to get married? Naina take the bride's side and I'll take the groom's… Punditji, everything ready?"
