EPISODE-16

 

"Goodmorning Delhi!!  It's sharp 7 in the morning aur main, RJ Naina, har roz ki tarah phir se aa gayi hoon aapki morning ko good banana ki koshish karne."

"Zara Radio Mirchi lagana" Rajveer asked the Taxi Driver. He was on his way to the airport.

 

"Zindagi mein bahut si khushiyan hain,

Zara sa tum muskura kar to dekho.

Yeh duniya kitni Khoobsurat hai,

Apni palkein utha kar to dekho.

 

Din guzarte jaayenge, zindagi beet jaayegi,

Har raat phir ek nayi subah layegi.

Lekin tum chaho to waqt bhi theher jaayega,

Apnon ko tum apna kar to dekho.

Roshni hi Roshni ho jaayegi har taraf,

Raat ke andheron se ubhar kar to dekho.

 

Mushkilein raahon mein har kadam par aayegi,

Sang aansuon ke har takleef beh jaayegi.

Lekin raaste ki dhoop ka apna ek maza hai,

Pedoon ki chaon se nikal kar to dekho.

Ho himmat to har mushkil ho jaayegi aasaan,

Ummeed ka daaman pakad kar to dekho.

 

Kuch apne, kuch sapne, kuch iraade, kuch wade,

Kuch nahin hai zindagi mein jeene ko iske aage.

Mushkilon se takra ke zindagi pe muskura ke,

Apni haathon ki lakeerein badal kar to dekho."

 

Rajveer had a smile on his face as he heard Naina reciting this poem. He hurriedly typed a message on his mobile. Naina saw that she has received a SMS but she left that to be cheked during the break and continued with her show.

 

"Main jaanti hoon aap log soch rahe honge ki aaj subah-subah mujhe achanak ho kya gaya hai……well nothing. Actually mujhe kuch saal pehle yeh poem mere ek friend ne sunaayi thi. At that point I was going through some personal problems. Aaj hamare desh ke ek hisse mein bhi problems badhti hi jaa rahi hain and believe you me, is waqt is poem ka matlab un logon se zyada achchi tarah aur koi nahin samajh sakta. Ji haan main baat kar rahi hoon Pulwama ki jahan aaye din aap aur mujh jaise innocent logon ki maut ho rahi hai terrorist attacks mein. Lekin yeh koi nayee baat to hai nahin...aaj Pulwama to kal kahin aur. Sirf India hi nahin aur bhi aisi kai countries hain jahan yeh terrorist attacks itni regular feature ban chuki hain ki aaj it's no more than just another news. Isliye shayad hum logon ne ispe react karna bhi band kar diya hai. In attacks aur aisi mauton ke bare mein sunne ki aadat si ho gayi hai hamein.Honestly….tell me… do we actually care? Call me up aur mujhe bataaeye ki kya terrorism se koi bhi kuch bhi haasil kar sakta hai? Anyways before taking this discussion further lets take a chota sa break. Here's a song coming up for you all. Naina kept aside her headphone and took her mobile and checked the message.

 

"It's been 2 years….U still remember!!"

"Every single word…tum mera show sun rahe ho!!" She replied the message.

 

"Haan…laut kar Delhi hi aana hai….Nhin sununga to jaaonga kahan ;)" Came a reply from Rajveer. They got into a chat.

 

"Dats like a guud boy….Abhi jo kaha woh yaad rakhna.Waise ho kahan?"

"On my way…..nearing d airport now."

"Byeeee then….n All the best!!"

"Thanxxx…I'll call you in the evening.Byeee"

 

Naina kept aside her mobile. She was still worried. Infact she could not sleep for the entire night. She was completely engrossed in her thoughts when she saw a colleague waving from outside the RJ Cabin. He was trying to say something but Naina could not figure out what. Suddenly she jumped in her chair. She understood what he wanted to say….She was so absorbed in her own thoughts that she literally forgot that she was 'On Air'. The song was over but she hadn't resumed. She hurriedly took her headphone and returned to the show….
