It was 3 days before sangeet ceremony, every arrangement was on full swing, and also the dance rehearsals. Ariya was fully ready for it, only the trio was not 100% ready. They practiced day and night to make themselves perfect.
Like every evening, riya was getting ready for dance lessons, and waiting for puja to come. Puja was gone for some last moment shopping .soon she called, and informed riya she wont come, as she is stuck in traffic. They will meet directly in rathore's house. so riya herself got ready, and went outside, waiting for taxi. But suddenly a car stopped in front of her, and she saw arjun was there in it.
''come.'' He ordered. She looked away, for a taxi.
''come or I will make you seat.'' He ordered more, and her heart jumped ..no, he wont do that. He cant do that.
After sometime, when she didn't move a centimeter from her position, arjun opened his car door, come near her, and at once picked her up in his arms. Riya was shocked ..
''sir .ye aap kya .''
'' Shhh'' he said through lips, and she shut up. He went near car, make her seat, also tied the seatbelt, not making eyes contact even once. Riya was so shocked that she didn't even say anything. he then come in his seat and drive.
Riya composed herself, and looked outside, not able to think anything, soon she saw they were not going through the usual way towards rathore's house..it was another way.
''sir this route?'' she asked, and arjun answered her back.
''there is huge traffic jam in that way. It's a short cut way.'' He informed her.
It was a deserted rode, no car or bike was visible to farthest corner. And after 10 minutes, the car abruptly stopped. riya gave arjun a confused look, and the latter sighed dramatically.
''ye kharab ho gaya phir se.'' he informed and sighed again. Riya was shocked.
''aap bina dekhe .''
''meri gaadi hain ..pata hain mujhe isse kaise kya hota hain waise bhi, main car dekh ke kya karoonga? Mechanic thode hi na hoon.'' He said little rudely and riya shut up. He is right.
''to ab?'' she asked softly. Arjun sighed yet again.
''ab intezar .kisi car ke ane ka. Yahan pe to mobile ka network bhi nahi ata.'' He sighed once more. Riya quickly checked her cell he is right, no signal. Gosh .. now they are stuck in middle of nowhere?
After sometime, arjun opened his door, and went outside, and started to walk. Riya was surprised, she called him, ''sir? Aap kahan ''
''to gaadi mein reh kar kya karoon? Agey jaraha hoon, agar kuch mil jaye '' he informed and walked again. He is leaving her behind? All alone? she stared at him in disbelieve, then she untie her seatbelt, and ran toward him.
''aap mujhe aise akela chod ke kaise jaa sakte hain?'' she accusedly asked, and he stopped walking. He turned to her, and said in a hurt tone, ''ye aadat tumhari hain, akele chod ke jane ki.''
Riya froze in place. Her eyes started to welled up.
''main to humesha yahin pe hoon ..tumhare saath.'' He said softly, and her heart melted. None talk for sometime after this.
''arre chalo..khadi kya ho?'' arjun said in a irritated tone, and riya quickly composed herself. Then she silently followed him.
Arjun started to blabber about everything while walking the greenery view, the stupid car, the network company's bad service, the dance choreographer rosy, sameer is so khadoos in work, shai is so crazy, puja shree a couple how surprising . Riya started to wonder if he is doing to hide his anger or hurt. She silently follow him, but he stopped abruptly.
''tum sun bhi rahi ho main kya keh raha hoon?'' he asked to her, arms crossed on chest.
''huh?''
''tumne kuch nahi suna maine jo jo ab tak kahan?'' he said in disbelieve. Riya nod her head.
''haan maine suna na .apne kahan beautiful view, stupid car, crazy shai, bad network ..'' she answered like a good student. He freed his arms and smirked little.
''you forgot sameer'' he said, and again resumed his walk, and again started to blabber about nothing in particular. Riya felt very weird what is he doing? 
Soon they were near a dhaba arjun jumped like a small kid, ''I am so hungry, and this dhaba is a life saver.'' Then he excitedly went towards it. Riya just stared at him, then at dhaba. its so unhygeinic!
She reluctantly followed him, while he settled on a khatiya. She also sat on it, and eyed the dirty surroundings around her it's a nightmare!
Arjun saw her uneasiness and rolled his eyes, ''tumhe kuch khane ki zaroorat nahi hain, ok? Bas mujhe khate huye dekhna.''
How rude! She thought, and glared at him, while he smirked. Then he whistled suddenly, making her jump. What is he doing?
Soon a boy come runningly towards them, and started to say, ''kya khaoge aap? Paneer, chicken mutton veg ..''
''ek paneer tikka, 5 roti, ek glass lassi .'' Arjun ordered, and riya looked in disgust. Here eating? Eww ..
The boy looked at riya, arjun waved his hand.
''madam khana nahi khati.'' He answered. What? What does that mean?
The boy gave a weird look to her, and went away. She could not help but felt angry, ''aap ye kya keh rahe the? Main khana nahi khati matlab?''
Arjun took the water jar and filled his glass, ''tum jo khati ho, use khana nahi kehte ..u eat like a bird, small quantity, choosing which vegetable u have to eat. What will zeenia learn from u?''
Riya felt ashamed .he is right. She is very choosy about vegetable, though she gave lecture to zeeny about eating all vegetable.
The boy was back with order, and arjun shamelessly started to eat, not offering her at all. seeing so much delicious food, riya wanted to at least taste, but its so unhygienic! Also she was angry he had not offered her for once.
''aap kaise mannerless ho ek baar pucha bhi nahi if I want to eat or not!'' she complained. Arjun's mouth was full.
''is mein puchne ki kya baat hain .you wont eat I know.'' He answered like he don't care. Riya made a face and looked away, but her stomach made a sound..she was hungry too.
She saw some finger was holding a piece of roti dipped in red gravy, and turned toward arjun. He offered it to her, ''kha lo ..achi bani hain.''
She looked away again, and he smirked. Sometime she is so like a child. He said in a loving tone, ''please?''
She again turned to him, eyes shining hearing his please. He offered it, and she opened her mouth. Then he slowly put it in her mouth.
Ek aur barne lage jo, ek dor bandhne lage jo , ek shor karne lage jo do dil

He continued to feed her, and she smiled at it.
''ouch '' arjun cried, and hold his finger. Riya was worried.
''kya huya?''
''kya huya kya .u bite my finger woman!'' he yelled in pain. Riya was confused.
''maine? Kab ..''
''agar mujhe aisi ghurti rahogi to pata kaise chalega what you are doing?'' he said in a serious tone, and she blushed .she was indeed very busy to stare at him. Arjun then started to laugh, and she realized he was just joking. She glared at him. He whispered a ''sorry''. He again offered her roti, but when he was about to put it, he took it back and ate it, surprising riya more. Then he again did it, and riya was little angry at it. Then he said sorry, and this time he put it in her mouth, didn't take it back.

Riya was really shocked to see this side of arjun, teasing, laughing, but she was happy too. One side of her heart always wanted to see him like that ..and here he is, like the way she wanted. She wished the earth just stop in this time.
Arjun saw her smiling face, and then painful expression he just want to give her all happinesss, want to wipe the pain she is hiding in her. He just wish she just accept her feelings, accept him in her life. He will take care of everything, her all problems, just she accept him once.

They headed back toward the car, with them a mechanic who will fix it. Then suddenly it started to rain. Ariya quickly find a shade and went under it, while the mechanic ran towards the car to fix it.
Arjun ran his fingers in his hair, and shook his head, causing the waterdrops fall on riya's face. He realized it, and mumbled ''sorry'', grinning sheepishly. Riya just stared back at him .he looks so hot in this wet avatar, and also so innocent and cute! While she was busy in staring session, he was busy to ran his finger in hair and looking at the rain.
'
'ab pata nahi ye barish kab rukegi ..'' he said irritatedly, and she came out of her drooling sessions. She blushed little, while arjun saw it and was confuse.
''has kyu rahi ho?'' he asked, and riya shook her head in negative to hide her embarrassment.
She looked away to not to drool again, while arjun was busy staring at her.
She was half wet in rain, there was water drops on her face and hair. The dress she was wearing, the usual jeans and t shirt was stuck to her body, thus showing off her curves.
Arjun stopped thinking more about her and smirked inwardly. This woman will be the death of him , he thought. She make him crazy, literally, with her mood swings every now and then. She is the only woman who can make him mad in anger, also make him laugh his heart out at the same time. She is just perfect! He wish he gets this woman in his life, that's it, nothing else. But why she always shut herself up? This question again haunted him, and the smirk vanished from his face. Then he looked at the rain .and he remembered their first meeting.
''hum log aise hi ek barish ke raat pe mile the '' his fond tone make riya turn towards him. She saw the shine in his eyes, and instantly her mind also went back in that night yes, of course she remember.
''yaad hain na tumhe?'' he asked hopefully, and she had no courage to deny ..she nodded in positive, and he smiled. Then his eyes turned dreamy may be he was busy to remember the night.
Riya's eyes welled up at this sight. This man loves her so much and she also loves him. But they cant be together, ever! Only because of her fear, which is very much reasonable. She is trying so hard to keep her distance, to shut herself, but this man always able to evoke the feelings inside her, he is able to open her and read her heart. And she is falling in love with him, all over again she cant let that happen. She don't want to get hurt. If things continue to go like this, she wont be able to go back she cant let that happen.
Arjun was looking at the rain, and there was a small smile in the corner of his lips. But suddenly he heard a sob, and turned to see riya was looking down, tears ready to fall on her face. His heart skiped a bit .what happen? Did he hurt her?
''hey ..what happen?'' he cupped her face and asked in concerned tone. She didn't make any move, just her eyes were closed, and tears started to fall down on her cheek.
He wanted very much to hold her in his arms and wipe her all pain, and he was about to do so, when he heard her cracked voice.
''please stay away from me ..please.'' her voice cracked more with each words, and the last word stuck in her throat ..she gulped the raising lump in her throat, then she hold his palm and remove it from her face.
He was just fixed on ground, not able to say anything. his eyes were fixed on her painful expression .why she is so hurt? What is the reason of her behavior?
''I don't want to get hurt .'' She continued, still looking down, ''I don't want to fall in love with you all over again .i wont be able to go back ..i don't want to hurt you more .please, stay away from me.''
Arjun's heart broke with each words she is in so much pain. That's it! He had to know what is it .he cant see her like this.
''so why are you doing this to me? To urself? Why you are hurting urself?'' he asked her, his voice also cracked little. Riya didn't move, but continue to look down.
''I have reasons.'' She whispered. Arjun's sad feeling was gone, anger and determination took its place.
''just tell me what is it. Its enough. You have to tell me.'' He said through gritted teeth.
''you will hate me.'' She said in a small tone, arjun looked away to control his temper. He shut his eyes.
''it wont happen ever.'' He answered back, and riya gave a mock laugh. Arjun freed her face and hold her arm tightly.
''just tell me the reason ..i cant see you like this. You have to tell me. Its high time.''
Riya looked in his face, and wiped her tears. She also whispered, ''yeah, its time.''
She closed her eyes, and with great difficulty said each word, while arjun's heartbeat increased with each seconds.
''I am the adopted daughter of mukherjee family. my biological father was a criminal .. his name was pathan lala.''
That arjun is shocked that will be the understatement. He was just its beyond description. He slowly removed his hold.
''and sikandar, his son, is related to me through blood. We are ..sibilings.'' that's it. She said it.
''the person who destroyed ur happiness, I am related to him. Still you wont hate me?'' she at last opened her eyes, and saw arjun's bewildered face. And she got her answer.
The worst nightmare, the deepest fear of losing him, that he will hate her, has finally come true. She lost him, and he hates her. She mistook the unbelievable look on his face as hatred, and chuckled.
'' I know it ..'' she whispered, and slowly went backwards in small steps, not shifting her gaze from his face. She didn't realize when she was out of the shed, she didn't realize when she was under the rain again she continue to move back, and then at once turned, and went away, running.
Arjun just stared at her ..when she was going backwards, he wanted to stop her. But his mind was so busy to figure out her words that he forgot to breathe, or move. He just stood there transfixed.
