Maan was working on the some file after the office hours the whole staff has left he looked at geet's cabin …. he looked up opening the blind frrom the only glass wall separating geet's cabin n found it empty ..strange it was ..!! in the last 5 years geet never leaves without informing him than where she is ..?? he stood up to see if she was around n went to her cabin n thr geet's mbl was ringing ...listening to the voice he went in n saw none thr but just a the cell ringing ...curious he went ahead picking up the cell it was adi who without listening to anything started blaberng..

Adi : geet kaha hu tum tumhare mamaji kb se callkr rahe hAi tumhain u r nt picking sab theek hai na ...?? 

Maan : adi stop ...geet nhi hai yahan apna mbl bhool gayi hai cabin mien ...aur its way past 7 abb tak tu ghr puhanch gayi hugi ..

Adi (panicked) : nhi sir abhi 5 min pehle meri geet ke mama se baat huyi she hasn't reached hour home yet ...

Maan : ok wait surely wooh KM mien hugi anniee ya dadimaa ne bolaya huga ..

Adi : ji sir ..

Maan (on call) : dadi maa geet wahan hai kya ..?? Aapne usse bulaya hai ..??

Dadi : nhi maan hum ne geet ko yahan nahi bulaya infact prem tou khud ghussa hai geet se… geet ne uSs ko kaha tha kal ke result ke baad woh usko call karegi bt abhi tak geet ka call nhi aaya ...

Maan (hanging the call) : aise kaise husakta hai ...geet yahan nhi hai apne ghar nhi puhanchi dadi ne bhi nhi bulaya tu gai kahan yeh larki ...

His face clearly depicted the inner tension running his hand through his hair he stood lost for a moment n than saw the no. Of missed calls on geet's cell thr ws suddenly a panic in his heart n mind something he hate the most something he cn't stand upto ...Fear ..!! For a moment he cursed himself 4 hs neglegence to her absence the whole day but than he ws himself to busy with the new project in hand n here is the result ...!!

Getting a grip of his furious self he dailed to adi ..

Maan : adi geet ke ghr call kar ke dubara chk karo she isn't at KM .. Aur mjhe yeh batao kb se ghayab hai woh aaj subha se mene usse office mien nhi dekha ...

Adi : sirr woh geet ghr nhi puhanchi her mamaji guessed her absence so he called me just now ..

Maan (fuming) : wht the hell gayi kahan woh ...aaj tak kabhi bina bataye woh office se bahar nhi gayi hai adi u knw it ...

Adi : gi sir thts y I m worries 5 saal mien pehli baar aisa kuch huya hai ...woh subha chandni chawk gayi thi fir wahan se pata nhi office kyun nhi aayi ..

Maan : what ..!! Geet chandni chawk gayi thi ..adi tumhara dimag kharAab hai ...tum ne usse akele bhej diya ...tum jante hu na geet ko musibat uske paas nhi woh musibat ke paas jati hai ...aur chandi chawk ka traffic accidents ... Hw cld u ..??

Adi (fumbling) : soRry sir but aap geet ko jante hain na subha buhat worried thi cards ko lekar ..mene bola bhi but woh chali gayi ...

Maan : adi tum abhi wahan jao n chk her mien bhi yahan se nikalta hoon ..

Adi : right sir ..I m on my way than ..

Maan (while walking out of office murmuring) : bilkul pagal hai yeh larki pata nhi akele jaane ki zarorat kya thi usse aur jana hi tha tou mjhe bol sakti thi par nhi upar se mbl bhi bhOol gayi ...pata nhi kahan hugi ...kis haal mien ..//

Nhi theek hugi woh ...kuch nhi huga ...mien dhundh lunga usko kahin nhi jayegi geet ..kuch nhi huga ..

But he stopped seeing some movement in a corner cabin ...n went ahead with slow steps but the moment his ears heard the similar voice of Her payal he reached thr with camel steps n opened the Door with a bAng n thr she was arranging the cards ...n now stunned seeing him ...his eye red in anger n grabbed her hands banging her soft back to the hard wall he asked her in utmost rage ..

Maan : tumhara dimag kharaab hai... kahan chali gayi thi tum ...aur mbl kahan hai tumhara ..janti hu sab kitna pareshaan hain .. Zarorat kya thi chandi chwk jane ki... Tum janti bhi ho wahan har rooz kitne accidents hute hain .. Kam se kam bata kar tu jati ...agar tumhain kuch hujata tou ..kya karta mien ...!!

Geet (shocked seeing this side of his but could a strange emotion in his eyes she never witnessed may be fear or may be something else she couldn't understand coz fear n MSK she couldn't believe but said in a fumbling tone yet calming him) : mien woh cards sir woh ...wohi theek karwane gayi thi ...

His grip loosened over her arms bt didn't left her still stood thr towering her petite figure with his huge manly one …barely touching her yet captivating her in his hold .. She could feel the raged breath n uneven heart beat of his ...making her bit worried ..mostly  vulnerable with him standing so close fanning her face with his hot breath n than his firm hold on her arms ...it ws the first time in last 5 yrs they r soo close he is actually touching her ... She ws shivering by now bt he still couldn't get ovr the fear he just experienced n thr she ws standing clueless ..but it felt good she can't refuse ..his touch seems to hv his own language giving away his claim his demand ...n the moment he looked up at her with so much of something in his eyes she still couldn't understand wht but still she wanted to drink it all ..n take away all his restleSsness ... Capitavating her n getting drawn in the oceans of her concerned eye he dipped his head in her shoulder n rested his forehead on her shoulder ...her hands went up to his shoulder so naturally as if it ws meant to be ...!!

The moment froze n they stood thr for eternity as it felt to be ...with eyes close his hand now on r back n her still resting over his shoulder ... A smile touched her face feeling him at peace like it means everything to her ...n thr he Ws thanking God a million times for her well being ... A moment after realization stuck her ... Thr proximity ...her holding him ...more than tht him being so close ...a blush kept on her face n the whole blood seems to rush towards her cheeks burning thm ...her heart beat went frantically uneven ...the sudden restlessness made him open his close eyes n looked up lifting his forehead frm her shoulder n saw her crimson red face close eyes if he could he would have spent his whole life watching her ...but than she opened her eyes n looked at him shyly ...bit confused still to his heart content she didn't regreted ..she wsn't ashamed ...bt he ws let down ..let down by his own self how could he ...!!  He shouldn't hv ..!! He shouldn't hv ...!!!!

Turning his back to her he stood closing his eyes ashamed of himself ...

No matter how much worried he ws no matter hw scared he felt wth her sudden absence he can't just do it ...wht if ...wht if she questioned wht if she left him alone ...NO ..she can't ..!!

He turned back to see her n she ws still in the same position head dipped down ...a mesmerizing red hue covering her face ...her finger busy notting her dupatta ..

The silence prevailed .. Maan still trying to form exact words n apologies but failed n stood thr looking every whr else than her ..while she was thr wondering wht exactly happened still trying to control her over rated high heart beats n those red flaring cheeks ...her shy smile didn't left her n making it even more difficult for her to say anything ...lost in that moment she stood thr with a smiling face dipped down noting her dupatta ...

well un-intensionally making him nervous ...ahh nervous n MSK ...!! Only she can do that ...but wht now ..with the similar questions in thr mind ..

Geet (st) : yeh tou kuch bol hi nai rahe ...??

Maan (st) : kya boloon abb mien geet se y did I ..?? 

Geet (st) : chaddo mien hi start karti hoon waise bhi inko tou bolne par bhi tax jata hai ...

Maan (st) : sorry bol deta hoon ...aur chala jata hoon jaldi se ...

Geet (st) : han yehi sahi hai waise bhi  geet tu janti hai na inke bolne ka wait kiya tu subha hujayegi aur bolenge bhi bs ek 'hmm' ya 'han' ..mien hi  Bol deti hoo ..

Geet n maan : woh ..

Geet : mien .. Maan : mien woh

Geet : actually Maan : iss tarha ..

Than looked at each other n be4 maan could speak geet said it all in one go ..

Geet : I am sorry ..woh cards ki mis printing theek kar wane mien aapko bina inform kare gayi … waise actually mien bina inform kare jane wali nhi ti mene call kara tha aapko but aapne pick nahi kara I guess prem ke saath dhyaan nhi raha huga ...but than mien jaldi ajati lekin party kal hi hai tou mene socha chance hi kyun lena n mien khud hi cards lekar agayi but dair hugayi thi iss hi liye jaldi se saare cards lekar yahan aayi woh marker wagaira mere pari ke paas thay na iss liyye ... But sir aap abb tension mat lo mene sab theek kar diya ...

Geet finished off with a wide smile expecting maan to be happy now at least but as usuall thr maan was hell angry with her negligence to every other thing ...

Maan (fuming) : tu tumhain lagta hai sab theek hugaya ... Geet tumhain pata bhi hai sab log kab se tumhain contact karne ki kushish kar rahe hain n u r nt picking up ur cell uthaogi bhi kaise khud north mein hu mbl south mien chora hai ...do hv any idea chandni chawk kitni dangerious jaga hai kya zarorat thi tumhain akele wahan jane ki ...for god sake geet abb tu sudhar jao kitni baar tumhain kaha hai think be4 u do anything but nhi tumhain kisi baat ka hoosh nahi huta ...janti hu prem wahan naraaz hai tum ne usko 1st aane par wish nhi kiya tumhare mamaji ka kitni baar adi ke paas call agaya hai ...aur jab mjhe pata chla tu kya kya khayaal arahe thay mann mien ...

Geet as usual was in tears with his angry self no matter what she do he will always be angry with her ...but the words actually made her bit shocked for the first time she is seeing some flicker of emotions in her otherwise cold boss but his rude demeanor made no change to her view n she stood thr with soo many questions in her teary hazel that made him feel wrong at his part though he knew he can't help but to be this way …..coz of the way she takes her life so casually n every other thing to her nervous just pisses him off ...n thr he left with his last words ..

Maan (facing hs back towards her) : kaam khatam hujaye tou office ki car se ghar chali jana ...

He left without even giving her a single look ..n she stood thr wondering ..

Geet : mujhe samajh nahi aata yeh chahte kya hain .. Pehle dante hain rolate hain fir bhi akele nahi chorte ...uff babaji mien iss confusion mien hi mar jaongi ...

Geet continued working still lost to make everything perfect for Him ...well that's her every time it comes to maan every other thing fails to get her attention ...something she fails to understand n definitely maan never noticed n thinks it all as her childishness ... lost in his cabin he sat glancing at the lights coming frm outside ...n the moment it went off closing all his file he stood up n followed her to her home as usual reaching late ...

PRECAP :- its the junior Khurana finally entering in the story ...
