Chapter 20: Introducing VEER

Next Morning, the police finished the inquiry and calls GG in the morning, here everyone is on the breakfast table when GG phones rings, she excuses herself and comes to the living room.

GG: Hello

Inspector Kaul: Hello, Ms Bhatnagar hum lucknow police station se baat kar rahe hai.

GG: Ji boliye, how can I help 

IK: Mam, humne aap pe hue Attack ki inquiry ki hai, aur Ranvijay ne hum sab kuch bata diya hai, isliye inquiry ki aage ki proceedings ke liye aapko ek baar police station aana padega, Aap aaj 10 baje aa sakte hai?

GG: Ji theek hai, mein 10 baje police station mein puch jaaugi.

IK: Thank you mam.

As soon as GG keeps the phone, yug coms and ask if everything is okay.

GG: 10 baje police station jaana hai

Yug; police station kyun?

GG: Ranvijay ke inquiry hui so I must be there.

GG while talking on the phone gets a message from Raashi and shows it to yug and Yug immediately switches on the TV

GG: Chavi take the kids upstairs please

Everyone else gathers in the living room and watches the news of RV arrest and his father’s Blacklist, and everything and smiles internally. She looks towards Anubhav and give that classic GG smirk to him and leaves from there towards the room.

In the room, Champ and Ridz is playing so she goes to them 

GG: you both always fight then make up why?

Champs: kyunki beautiful, hum brothers-sister hai na, then friends so we fight like friends and make up like siblings.

Ridz; yes mumma, papa ne sikhaya ki no matter how much we fight we must stay together. 

GG: yeh Aapke papa ne sikhaya?

Ridz: yes, Mumma aap aur papa bhi fight karte hai, toh aap toh aap bhi saathe mein rahege.

GG goes silent not because she doesn’t have the answer, she has a correct answer but doesn’t know how to frame it in a way to explain them, Children’s have hopes, high hopes and if the parents fail to fulfil them, they fail too. GG had promised herself that she will never fail to her daughter but now equation sis changed because this version of promise does involve her father. 

She changes the topics and play with them for a while. Here GC gang are trying to find a solution for the step 2 and finally GC speaks

GC: let’s  do one thing when Anu is coming here, we will talk about Veer,and call GG and ask her questions and all so that we ignite the fore a bit more and let’s see his reaction.

Yug: Chachu ek baat kahu, kal Annu ne GG ko kyun roka?

Ankit: Ha, mujhe laga ki GG ke khel se Anu ko toh khush hona chahiye, ki badla le rahi hai toh usne roka kyun?

GC: Sanskaar ke wajah se, ya phir concern ki wagah se woh seedha hai, GG ka badalta roop dekh kar shayad use daar tha, ki Akriti kahi GG pe haavi na ho gaye.

They sent a text to the group which they had created, that the Step 2 is on. GG is on her way to the police station. Ankit sees Anu coming towards the room and ask GC to start.

GC: Arey Yug zara GG ko phone toh laga, Hearing GG name Anubhav stops and hides behind the door to hear what they are talking about, GC gang sees him in the mirror

Yug: Chachu kisliye?

GC: Arey aaj Veer ka pehla din hai na hospital mein isliye, Kina aacha hai na Delhi se yaha aaya GG ke liye.

Yug calls GG, and here Anubhav is thinking “Veer, yeh naam toh kal GG ke phone mein bhi likha tha, aur who delhi se yaha kyun aaya hai, Aakhir kaun hai yeh veer?”

GG: hi Yug Bhaiya

Yug: Gungun woh hume puchna tha ki Veer ka aaj pehla din hai na woh theek se settled ho gaya kya?

GG: Ha, uska phone aaya tha, usne suggest bhi kiya tha ki hum saath mein lunch kare.

Yug: Aur tumhe kya kaha? Please say you said Yes

GG: Maine abhi tak jawab nahi diya hai, kyunki police station mein hu isliye, baad mein phoen kar dugi. Acha bhaiya mujhe jaana padega bye.

Anu: “lunch, uski himmat kaise hui Gungun ke saath lunch karna ka sochne ki bhi, aur chachu yeh sab Veer kw baare mein kya jante hai, aur yeh saale veer hai kaun?” pata toh lagana padega, He leaves from there and GC gang sees him and laugh so loudly and calls others and let them know also.

Police station

GG: Ji mujhe Inspector Kaul se milna hai, mera naam Gungun Bhatnagar hai.

IK: Gungun Bhatnagar?

GG: Yes

IK: Inspector kaul, please follow me

GG turns to the constables and says thank you and follow IK.

IK: Sorry hume aise achanak aapko bhulana pada lekin Ranvijay aapse kuch baat karna chahte the isliye.

GG: No problem inspector

She enters the room and sees RV sitting there, IK stands behind GG 

RV: Mujhse tumse kuch baat karne hai

GG: Kaho, kya kehna hai 

RV: Akriti ne mujhe phone kiya tha, usne tumhe institute mein dekha tha, Aur tumhe follow kiya, aur tumhe aur Anubhav ko ek saath dekhkar use laga ki tum dono ek hoge ho, isliye usne mujhe phone kiya, to take my help in getting you out of her way, I am accepting this in front of inspector because I am an accomplice to her

GG: you could have told that to the inspector why did you need me?

RV: I wanted to say I am sorry for everything, tumhare warning ke baad mein toh jaane ke liye ready bhi tha par Akriti ne ruk liya,

GG: Aur tum Ruk gaye, RV jitna mein tumhe janti hu, tum kisi ke liye nahi rukte, joh kehte ho karte ho, phir Akriti ke kehne pe ruk gaye kyun?

RV: Inspector Kya hume 2 min akele mein baat kar sakte hai?

Inspectors goes out

RV: Akriti ke liye nahi ruka tha, kisi aur ke liye, Ek ladki hai jisse pyaar karne laga hu, uske liye ruka tha.

GG: Tum aur pyaar, I dnt believe you.

RV: tumhare joh kiya uske baad tumhare na believe karna banta hai, tumhe bulyaya kyun ki mein chahti hu, ki Who ladki se tum please ek baar baat karlo.

GG: mein kyun aur kya baat karu?

RV: look, I like her, and I know me being in jail is not ideal for her, soo please let her know that you have sent me to work somewhere far and will contact you through phones only till my time is done in jail. After that I will leave with her, and never trouble you but I like her a lot.

GG thinks for a while: Fine name and Address please

RV gives every detail and ask and says thank you and the insepector takes him away.

IK: Mam, aap please yeh statement pe sign kar dijiye, aur aap free hai uske baad.

GG signs the paper and in her car, and she calls Raashi

GG: Can you find out a Certain Ms Niharika Khaana please, I will send you the details

Raashi: Okay mam, also Shankar Saxena called, je is ready to meet us and as request Akriti will accompany her. Also step 2 was a successful one time for step 3

FLASHBACK (when Raashi is introducting veer GC gang is in their la la land and picturizing all this, so even you guys can do it)

Raashi: Step 3 Introducing VEER, he walks in the hospital, hawaa chal rahi hai, ladkiya fidaa ho rahi hai, charo taraf ek dusro se takra rahe hai, 

GG: Pause… 

Raashi: kya yaar, flow tod diya

GG: flow???

GC: ha flow, tum na Anubhav 1.0 banne ki zarurat nahi hai, imagination name ki bhi cheeze hoti hai, toh who karo.

Raashi sits next to her and GG getting a bit irritated but still doesn’t say anything and Raashi continues while other looks like again entering the imaginary land.

Raashi: sab takra rahe hai, ssare female staff usko dekh kar shy feel kar rahi hai.

While they were imaging this GG gets up from there and goes to her desk to get some work while others are still standing there, smiling, and giggling with their imagination.

Ankit: Phir,

Raashi: Phir…… phir…. phir……

Yug comes out of trance and hits raashi on her head lightly: aage bhi toh bol.

GG: Phir kuch nahi, aap sab na is imaginary trance se niklo, aur raashi yeh hospital hai, aur yeh reality hai koi TV show nahi ki hawaa chalegi, saare ladkiya pagal hogi and all that, aur acting karna hai, toh na kuch real soch, imagination ke ghode mat Dhaura. Aur itni saare ladkiya agar tere Veer pe fidaa ho gayegi  toh tu kya karegi.

Raashi: Arey imagination land hai, kuch bhi ho sakta hai.

GC: Dekh tera na hum fake accident karvage, aur Anubhav ko jaise hi teri accident kikhabar milagi who toh Usain Bolt ko bhi peeche chodkae aayega tujhse milne.

GG: Chachi, Transporation naam ki bhi cheeze hai, I am sire aapka bhateja woh use karke hi aayega, Usain bolt banane ki kya zarurat hai.

GC: Tum mood spoilt mat kar, ha toh hum kaha the fake accident no major injury aur tum na thoda us veer se bhav khana thode din, kyunki Agar itni asaani se agar maan gayi toh Anubhav ko shaq hoga.

Raashi; who kyun chachu?

Yug: arey kyunki annu janta hai, she doesn’t give in one try so.

GG: Aap sab pagal ho gaye ho.

GG: Raashi, Mr Saxena ko conference room mein wait karva I am reaching there in 5 min.

Mr Saxena and RKC was in meeting room, when GG enters from the other door and stands behind RKC 

GG: Booo… RKC gets scared

RKC: What the hell

GG: Dar laga, good lagna chahiye bhi.

RKC: Hume yaha kyun bulaya.

GG: tumhe ek hi baat kar bar kyun bolni padti hai, you stay shut until asked.

GG: Mr Saxena, toh kya decide kya apne?

SS: hum rent dene ke liye taiyar hai, aur humare expenses ke list bhi

GG: very good, Question is how much rent you can afford, coz you bank balance is not good, paise toh hai nahi, joh job hai who hai, toh sochke batao kitna rent de sakte ho.

GG: yeh mera offer hai, she gives the documents, if agreed then sign it and by end of every month. Aur hai Ms Saxena mera dar hamesha hona chahiye tumhe. Waise ek interesting baat batao Aaj Ranvijay se mili mein, aur usne kuch kaha hai mujhse ab toh ab tum jail mein jaayogi, aur Aap Akele kaise jiyege Mr Saxena? 

She goes in front of RKC folds her hans and helds her head high 

GG: Meri insult ki tumne, bahut pride than a, sab maine yu Snapping her fingers, yu game palat di, ab tum , aur tumhara ghamad jail mein aksar yeh baatein kareje ki kash maine Gungun se panga nahi liya hota toh yeh nahi hota. Jail ka khana kaisa hot ahai, who zarur bata dena and best of luck, Aur Ek baat aur yaad rakhna Jail mein bhi nazae rakhne wale bahut hai mere liye, aur aur koi planning ki toh sedhe upar ka ticket katva degi.

GG reaches Bhatanagar mansion and goes to GB room, she knows after whatever happened yesterday she will be very sad.

GG:  Bua, I'm sorry for what I did yesterday whatever happened was a bit harsh and I know even though they don't mean anything to you right now they were something of yours before you came to know the truth so I'm really sorry bua.

GB: tum sorry kyun bol rahi ho, I am happy that I have a daughter like you. Your father would have been very proud of what you are today as I am. You prove to the world that you are somebody now you have reached a position where no one can tell you anything which can hurt you reached all the success by yourself you worked hard who kept your father's word and I'm very lucky to have a daughter like you. Aacha yeh sab chod, yeh Veer ka kya chakkar hai.

GG:  not you too, un logo ne aapko bhi shamil kar diya. 

GB: Anuhav stills loves you, it can be seen in his eyes.

GG: Bua, kya pyaar hi sab kuch hota hai, baaki koi cheeze matter nahi karti? Pyaar toh mein bhi karti hu, isliye nafrat nahi kar paa rahi hu, but that woh saari baatein aaj bhi dard deti hai. Aur aapko kya lagta hai yeh Jealousy track help karega?

GB: of course, karega, hum bhi toh dekhe ki Anubhav meri Gungun ke liye kitna pagal hai.

GG: Bye bua, see you later

On her way home, she has a minor accident, she is being brought to her hospital where Raashi meets her , the doctor are checking her, She has a minor sprain and few bruises nth serious, so Raashi think to out the plan in action, She calls GC and Gang and let them know about the accident and they rushes hospital soon.

Rasshi; Guys yeh na sahi time hai, Veer ko introduce karne ka.

GG: kya, meri accident hua hai, tujhe mazaa karna hai iss waqt bhi

Raashi: Arey meri setting ho gayi hai doctors se

Yug: Acha toh hai kaaha yeh tumhara veer

Raashi: mein na bahut smart hu, oehle hi use bula liya tha, dekho who aa gaya and Verer enters the room.

GG: Guys mujhe dard ho raha hai, is sar dard ko kyun leke aaye.

Veer: Oh hello, I m not sar dard I am your lover boy for some time

GG: Lover boy, tujhe aur isko dono ko marna ka maan kar raha hai, bolu kis cheeze se tum dono ka murder karu? Anu suggestion?

Raashi: arey dekh, tu tension mat le, yeh sambhal lega.

GG looks at them and then at the gang who are constantly ogling at Veer.

GG: Aap teen trimurti ko kuch nahi kehna, yeh dono ka plan bakwass hai 

Ankit: nahi hot hai

GG: Kya?

Ankit; mera matlab yeh band hot hai, bilkul hero type persosnlity hai iski, kya baat hai, kya chaal hai, agar mein teri jagah hot ana toh kab ka ha keh diya hota.

GG: tu bol de ha, isko gadhe ko bhi aur is plan ko bhi.

GC: Dekh yeh sahi plan hai, toh ab hum Anubhav ko tumhare Accident ki khabar dete hai aur Veer tum Doctor Ghera se setting ho gayi hai, jaake file sab leke aa, Raashi leke gaa aur please acting acchi karna,thoda tashan dikhana please.

GG: Mein pagal ho rahi hu, koi mujhe anesthesia do please?

GC calls Anubhav who had just entered home and was just about to ask about Gungun when his hoen ring

GC gettinh into his crying acting mode: Annu…

Anu: Chachu kya hua, aa pro kyun rahe ho.

GC: Annu, who gungun ka accident hua hai, use uski hospital mein leke aaye hai, tu jaldi aa jaa.

Anu drops his phone and stay silent for a second in shock and then picks up his phone and runs out of the house.

GC looks at others and have a victory smile. GG cant believe she is giving into this. You calls GB and others at Bhatanagar Mansion and tells them about the accident and the acting so they ccn be ready and they also leave for hospital

Here BP calls Ankit and Ankit get scared because if BP and All come ots going be a big disaster.

Ankit: Ji BP

BP: Sb theek hai na, Golu ka phone aaya aur Anubhav jaldi mein yaha se nikal gaya. 

Ankit: woh BP aapse ek baat karni thi, kya champ aur ridz aas pass toh nahi hai na?

BP: Nahi, Chaavi aur Divya use neighbour ke ghar leke gaye hai

Ankit: woh BP Gungun ka chota sa accident hua hai, use abhi hospital leke aaye hai.

BP: Accident?

Ankit: ji woh abhi theek hai, bas aaram kar rahi hai, kal parso woh ghar aa jaayegi.

BP: Acha theek hai.

Here Anubhav comes running to the hospital and he meets Raashi at the reception.

Anu:  Raashi, gungun kaha hai? Who theek toh hai na?

Raashi: Sir, she is absolutely fine, woh filhall apke parivaar walo ke saath hai Room 102, come lets go

Anubhav and Raashi enter the room, they see her talking to the gang.

Anu: Gungun (he says it so softly with tears in his eyes)

GC: Arey Anubhav, tu kab aaya 

But Anubhav is still looking at GG, he is on a verge of crying the same way he was when she had in hospital when she ate those sleeping pills

GC shakes him up a bit, GG cant see his tears, no matter how much strong she tries to be.

GG: Mein theek hu,do not worry. I am fine., here come here.

Anubhav goes and sits next to her,

GG: see completely fine dnt worry just a sprain in the leg, and few bruises.

GC and gang excuses themselves to give them some privacy.

Anu: Tum sach mein theek ho, koi dard toh nahi ho raha hai, do you need anything, shall I call the doctor, or a nurse.

GG takes Anubhav hands in her and says: calm down, I am fine, see please calm diwn.

Anu: I got scared and starts to cry, I was scared thinking I was going to lose you again. Please do not scare me anymore, if I will lose you I will not be able to live.

GG stops her midway: Don’t you dare, say that again. And she wipes his tears.

There is a knock on the door, and entrs veer

GG: Tum mere doctor ho?

Veer: lucky me right first day pe meri patient the great Gungun Bhatnagar. Aakhir is handsome nacheeze se tum apna ilaaj karvne ka joh saubhagya paya hai, you should be proud.

GG: Proud my foot, She says softly

Veer: you said something?

GG: No I said Yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!! In a sarcastic tone.

Veer looks at Anubhav and then at GG

Veer: and you are?

GG: Anubhav meets veer, and veer meet Anubhav

They both shakes their hand and GG is looking at the shaked hands
