BP: Mumbai Kyun?

Anu: Pata nahi, woh toh waha jaake hi pata chalega. Ridz aap yaha rehna chahti hai ki Garima Bua ke pass chod du

Ridz: GB ke pass aur Kya champ bhi aa sakta hai kehlne?

Yug: Kyun nahi, jaao bags pack karo dono, Neeti Champ ka school bag or one pair of clothes bhi pack kar lena.

Sargam: Anu, jaa tum hi apna bag pack kar, hum in dono ko chod aayege.

Anu: Theek hai, mein GB ko phone karke bata deta hu.

Mumbai:

GG: Bhaiya, kya aap Anubhav ko Aaj sham Airport se pick karke ghar par drop kar dege, mujhe thoda kaam hai woh khatam karke mein aa jaugi aur kal shaam aap sabka dinner hamare ghar pe hai bhulna mat.

Arti: Arey Didi, hum kaise bhul sakte hai, aaj apne 4 baar mujhe yeh baat kahi hai.

GG: Theek hai, mein chalti hu, kal milte hai.

GG bids them farewell and leaves from there and calls Rasika Di

GG: Di, Aapse kuch kaam tha. Aap please ek report collect karni hai office se aap please collect karke Bua ko degi please and when she sees the report make sure you sit with her.

Rasika Di: Theek hai, Yug bhaiya Maa ko leke aa raha hai who2 badmassho ko drop karne uske baad chali jaaugi.

GG: Thank you.

Anubhav calls GG

Anu: Mumbai kyun?

GG: Tum bina sawwal kiye kuch kaam nahi karte kya?

Anu: Yeh mere Saawal ka jawab nahi hai

GG: who meri line thi tumhari nahi.

Anu: Sawaal galat tha us din bhi aur aaj bhi

GG: Aaj sawwal nahi pucha maine, aur us din ka jawab tumne us din theek se diya nahi tha.

Anu: Mumbai Kyun?

GG: kaam hai tumse isliye, PB tumhe airport pick karne aagayege aur Ghar par drop kar dege, the penthouse on floor 30 apartment number3012, Gauri Tai Darwaza khol degi tumhare liye. Mujhe late ho jaaega please Gussa mat dilana warna kisi ki shammat aa jayegi. Bye

Anu: Arey… The call gets disconnected.

GC: Kya hua, kuch kaha kyun bula rahi hai tumhe.

Anu: Kaha Chachu, kahe ki kaam hai mujhse aur waha PB airport se pick kar lege. Aur kaha hai ki Gussa mat dilana warna kisi ki shammat aa jayegi.  Acha hum nikalte hai,der ho gayi hai.

Anu reaches Airports, Boards the flight, and reaches Mumbai where PB has come to pick him up.

Anu: PB, Aapko kuch idea hai kya ho raha hai?

PB: Idea hai par aap Didi se hi puch lena, chaliye mein aapko ghar chod deti hu.

Anu is very confused, he calls home and let them know that he reached Mumbai, he also Facetime Ridz and champ and let them know that he reached. PB drops him to the apartments and Shanta tai opens the door for him,takes his luggage and show him the bedroom, Anubhav enters the bedrooms and shock to see the simplicity of the room, GG room in Lucknow is much more decorative but this one is plain simple just the way he likes it, he looks at the photo frame above the bed the one from Mumbai’s Balcony, and also small frames of Ridz and her, GC Gang, His and Hers, Garima Bua and Rasika di along with Yash Jiju. He smiles looking at everything,

Anu Takes her and his photo: “Sadhe 5 saal ho gaye lekin aaj bhi saare memories ko jab bhi yaad karta hu, toh ek khushi milti hai. Jis din tum chod ke gayi, tab maine faisla kiya tha, ki jitney bhi saal kyun na hogaye, mein wait karuja, shayad aage bhi karna pade, par aaj mauka mila hai maafi maang kar rahuja aur tumhare dukh ka hissa ban jayuga, GC us din kaha thaki mein tumhara dil kabhie na todu, but maine tod diya, us din maine tumse kaha tha ki ek din tumhe meri patni hona par garv hoga, par aaj mujhe tumahara pati hone par Garv hai, Shaadi jis haalat mein hui ho, Maine tumhe aur sirf tumhe apni patni mana hai.”

His chain of thoughts is broken when Gauri Tai knocks on the door

GT: Sir, aap ko kuch chaiye, mera ghar jaane ka waqt ho gaya hai.

Anu: Nahi, thank you

As soon as GT leaves, Anubhav gets freshen up and thinks to cook dinner for himself and GG, when he is preparing Dinner GG enters the house and see him in kitchen, her mouth wide open because and staring at him in shock. Anu sees her like this and smiles

Anu: Hi, Dinner is almost ready, tum fresh ho jaao then we shall have dinner.

GG goes to the kitchen and checks what he made and is shocked to see all her favourite dishes made.

GG: Did you cook it did you order it and just garnished it

Anu: Banaya hai

GG: Impressive Mr Scientist, not bad

Anu: Thank you, go get freshen up.

She comes out and is shocked to see the table set up in a balcony decorated with flowers and champagne bottle and slow music playing

GG: Alright, not bad are you trying to impress me?

Anu: Impress maybe but trying hard or taking at least a step-in apologizing to you so will you (takes his hand in front for her) give me a chance?

GG things a while and gives her hand: Sure, but A for effort I must give you that

Anu: Thank you, Shall we?

GG: We shall, and they proceed to the balcony.

Anu pulls a chair out for her and opens the champagne bottle and serves her dinner and then takes a sit. GG takes a bite of the pasta he had made

GG: Not bad, are you cooking for the first time or have you cooked before?

Anu: kyun itna bura tha?

GG: No, I mean asking in general, this is good so i had to ask….

Anu: 5 ½ saal Mein tumhari Fav Dish banana toh sikh liya.

GG: So, lets talk

Anu: lets play 20 Questions, I ask you one and the next is yours.

GG: Okay Ready?

Anu: Alright ladies first

GG: oh cmon not this concept of ladies first, I hate it

Anu: Kamaal hai, everyone loves this concept and you hate it.

GG: well, I am not everyone, if I was you would have moved on in all these years, yet here we are. So I am not everyone

Anu: That’s true, you can’t be everyone tum single piece ho, Bhagwan ne na pagalo banana band kar diya hai islye tum single piece ho

GG: Haha very funny, bakwaas joke tha. 5 ½ saal joke marna nahi sikhe tum

Anu: Jab zindagi hi mazaak ho, toh yeh joke toh bahut chota hai usme. Anyways let’s start

1.      Why did you run to Mumbai?

GG: Coz, I couldn’t answer your Question about living together, I couldn’t find one yet so.

2.      Why didn’t you get married again?

Anu: After Akriti left, BP did try to get me married but I couldn’t, I couldn’t do this to you. You are my wife no matter how we got married us din bhi kaha tha, aaj bhi keh raha hu.

3.      Jab gussa hoti toh company buy karti ho kyun?

GG: tum hamesha mujhe BA fail kehte the, toh your taunt haunted me aur Jab Bharosa toda toh I was very angry at you so to satisfy my anger I brought company who weren’t performing well, studied them, made offers they couldn’t refuse, pressed the right nerve as they say in Business world and subdued my anger on you.

4.      Mujhepe bhrosa kyun nahi kiya, joh dekha use sach maan liye kyun?

Anu: Sorry, I am guilty for it,not giving any excuses or explanation for my action all I can do is try winning you back

5.      Will you ever give n my efforts?

GG: Maybe, maybe not

6.     Living situation,since Ridz made a demand to you.

Anu: Jaise tum kaho

7.      Ridhi name kaise socha?

GG: Rasika Di ne rakha, she always wanted a girl name Ridhi, when she had miscarriage, she gave the name to our daughter.

8.      Agar mein kahoon ki Mein Delhi nahi chod sakti,kya Tum Lucknow chod doge hamare saath rehne ke liye.

Anu: Shayad, Woh toh baat karke hi pata chalega Ghar Pe

9.      The anger you subdued on the company did it help?

GG: Tum aaj wahi kar rahe ho jo us din kiya, never trying to know the second half of the story. Yes, I brought company who were failing not just because of my anger towards but also, I was helping someone to save the family, the Employees worked so hard, and the company was shutting down they would lose work and income, so I brought them.

10.  BP se Ridhi aur Mere liye Stand loge, God forbidden if you must, will you stand against your family for our family?

Anu doesn’t answer, GG gets it and eat her remaining dinner in silent.

GG: Its fine, your silence is speaking a thousand words now, no need to answer it

She drinks rest of the champagne and gets up, “Thanks for the dinner.”

As she is about to leave, he holds her hand, like she did when he was leaving that day, and gets up and instantly hugs her. His hold is too tight that she can’t even breathe, she doesn’t give in the hug first but when she hears him cry, she hugs him back

Anu: I am so sorry, please dnt leave me and go, I can’t lose you again for so many years I was lost without you, miserable and angry at myself for letting you go, When you came back I saw the change sin you and I knew that those changes are because of me, first time I saw your eyes after so many years, I saw sadness like the one you described to Dr Maya on your birthday, I may be the reason for everything going bad in your life, so sorry for not trusting you, sorry for not standing by you and sorry for everything.

GG release herself from the hug and looks at him, she sees there is genuinelity in his eyes, but she also know she cant trust him completely yet.

GG: Look, I can forgive you but trusting you again, that’s going to take time, so for now nest we can do is start from starting and let’s see how things work out this time for us.

He smiles a bit and shakes her hand and speaks

Anu: So let’s work our way of being best parents to our daughter while I try to win you back

GG: okay, so now that dinner is done are there more surprises or shall we say good night

Anu: Actually, there is one more thing

 he turns the music up a bit and ask for her hand in dance, like Mumbai black saree one, they sway away to the music and look at each other with such intensity, He runs his hands up her arms and her shoulders. Then cups her face and bites her lips and she laughs again and for the first time he lets himself think about the possibilities…His lips are sure, demanding, capturing her mouth with a low moan that resonates throughout her body. She is overwhelmed by how quickly he assaults her senses, how quickly she abandons thought for sheer sensation. Anubhav kisses along her throat, fingers trace her nape, cup her head, as his mouth travels to suck gently along her collarbone. She sighs deeply, arches closer, her hands finding their way around his neck. 

GG immediately comes to her senses and moves back, she cant go further not now at least, Anubhav also becomes too awkward by this and he starts stammering and   muttering sorry to her.

GG: Its fine, we will have to work on the boundaries too, since we will have to stay together in future.

Next mrng: they have breakfast in peace, no one wants to talk about what was going to happen yesterday.

GG: Oh by the way, I forgot to tell you I have invited PB and family today for dinner.

Anu: Okay, we can do a dinner, but also since we are in Mumbai, and we never have done Mumbai Darshan let’s do that today.

GG: I am in but on one condition

Anu: What condition?

GG: you dnt taunt me, nor tease me and you talk sweetly today, no matter how much I irritate you. Deal?

Anu Smiles: Done deal.

They smile and laugh while GG looks at him in a mischievous way,

Anu: I dnt like that look.

GG: what look?

Anu: the look you are giving right now, as if you are going to do something

GG: Dar Gaye?

Anu: Nahi,bilkul nahi, anyways what we are making for dinner, we must get supplies also.

GG: tum pasta ke awala kuch aur bana lete ho, nahi na toh dinner I will cook

Anu; Tumhe khana banana aata hai?

GG: ofcourse, aata hai, us din jab Bua ne kaha tha, ki beta Aaj yaha kha lo, GG ne help ki hai, Suna nahi tha

Anu: Suna tha, par laga tumne sirf kitchen saaf karne mein help ki hogi

GG: oh hello, agar us din taste kar lete toh pata hota I can cook not just bake. Mr Food waster.

Anu: Oh hello, Ms Papa ki Pari, us din maine already BM ko promise kiya tha isliye nahi khaya.

GG smiles looking at him and he realize what he did and what she was doing

Anu nodding his head: That’s not fair, no way I am not counting this one.

GG: What? How easily I can do that to you, and you didn’t even realize so now Mr Mummy ke Magarmach Mumbai darshan akele karna.

Anu: No that was not fair, you didn’t give me a warning and they fight and run around the house until they are tired.  They make the list to get things from the grocery store, they go for shopping, background fun music your choice, they do all crazy stuff all in the stores, come home and start preparing dinner for themselves and their guest.

GG while chopping vegetables: Tell me something, tumhe really laga ki I might not know who to cook

Anu: Actually,I thought that coming from a family how has cook and all that, I misjudged you.

GG: who toh tum hamesha karte ho, usme naya kya hai.

Anu: Toh tumne us din zeher nahi milaya tha?

GG: Nahi,tumhe marne ke bahut saare tarekke aate hai, toh zeher kyun use karu.

Anu: Toh tumne mujhe marne ke baare mein socha bhi hai

GG: tum toh boredom se martre ho, meri kya hi aukat hogi tumhe marne ki

Anu: Tumhe lagta hai mein boring hu?

GG: ha toh ho usme bura lagane ki kya baat hai.

Anu: mein bilkul bhi boring nahi hu.

GG: ohhh haa, tum boring nahi MAHA boring ho.

Anu pointing Fingers at her: you………. You know what Good luck with your cooking, mein toh Mumbai darshan ke liye Jaa raha hu.

Saying this he leaves the house.

Anu to himself: Boring kaha nah usne, Lucknow wapas jaane do, mein dikhata hu, ki mein boring nahi hu, Suddenly Chachu Facetime him and in Anger he says: Chachu, please aap bhi mat shuru ho jaana

GC: Par humne toh kuch nahi kaha tumhe, Kyun GG ne kuch kaha tumse.

Anu: HA,Boring kaha usne,

Yug: Actually,Boring nahi MAHA boring kaha hoga usne, Hai na Anu?

Anu: Yes

GC: Toh usne Sach hi kaha, Sach kadwa hota hai.

Anu: Chachu aap bhi.

GC: Acha yeh sab chod, sab theek hai na?

Anu: Ha chachu sab theek hai, baat ki hai aage kya karna hai, ab ghar aake hi pata chaelga.

GC: Arey humne yeh kehne ke liye ki chaavi ki shaadi ki date fix ho gayi hai. Panditji ne 2hafte baad ka muharat nikala hai toh jaldi se Lucknow aa jaao bahut saare kaamhai yaha.

Anu: Chachu aake living arrangement ke bhi baat karni hogi, ab sab kaise karege who toh waha aake hi pata chalega.

Anu goes up and tells GG about Chavi wedding and GG is too excited as Chavvi is so close to her, they prepare for dinner together and gets ready and wait for BP and family and Gauri Tai and family and they all have dinner with fun and laughter and enjoyment.

Anu sees the old GG’s Glimpse after a long time, and he is just admiring how she is and have those stolen moments every now and then with their eye’s conversations. This GG is someone whom he fell in love with, and Anu know no matter what he has to win her back. Both look at each other and the screen freezes.
