Chapter 14

After spending a wonderful day with his family at their new farm house, Shaurya returns back home and packs his stuff to go back to Mumbai to start shooting for his next which is not so surprisingly produced by Sanjay Malhotra himself. Best way to keep son of the rival away from him. But Shaurya was okay with it. With Nikki, Ajay n Vicky already back to Mumbai, Shaurya was supposed to go alone. While on the way to airport he stopped at Mehak's Uncle's place and wanted to say goodbye. He rang the bell, Nehal came out. Nehal was not very happy to see Shaurya. Shaurya sensed that something was off but he didn't want to push it. He just said that he wanted to say bye to Mehak before he goes back to Mumbai.

Nehal said no to him and took him aside in the garden to talk. She said to him that he couldn't meet Mehak because she didn't want Mehak to be in company of the people who despite understanding the stupidity she was up to didn't discourage her rather helped her observe the fast with all the rituals and taam jhaam and stuff. Nehal told him how she came to the conclusion post seeing the earrings. Shaurya said that he didn't want to make Mehak cry. Nehal laughed and said that he wasn't helping her in anyway rather he was supporting her to never move on. He was encouraging a 22 year old girl who had her whole life in front of her to just sit back in the memories of her ex and be on that wheelchair forever till she gets old and tired of herself. Nehal was mighty angry and Shaurya had nothing to say.

Shaurya said he was sorry and he wasn't thinking on those lines. He just wanted to help. Kanta was seeing them fighting from the balcony. She even heard what they were talking about. She didn't care about the big star Shaurya who was at her house. She went to Mehak straight away and confronted her, God was the scolding bad, she in every way told Mehak how wrong she was to do what she did and Mehak just cried. But it is truly said that only a mother can bring children on the right path because she is their first guide to life. Mehak had nothing to say but the words for sure were making an impact on her. If Nehal was dangerous and Savage, when angry then Kanta was her mother. Both mother daughter duo were bashing someone. Shaurya wasn't understanding why he was standing and listening when he had the option to say whatever and go. He was saying sorry in the hope that she would let him meet her before he goes away for at least 3 months.

Well Nehal was adamant and he had to leave but he felt that he left a part of him in Delhi with his family and with HER. Well for him she was just a friend but he didn't like doing something bad for a friend. During the whole duration of flight he kept thinking about the same.

Mehak was alone in her room for sometime. She did some introspection and decided to try and move in from Armaan. She dialled Nehal and asked her to come back to the room saying that she needed her. Nehal got worried and hurried to her room. Kanta Chachi too followed. They sat on the bed in front of her and she hugged them saying that they were right and she would move on and try to forget Armaan. Kanta was happy and so was Nehal. Kanta Chachi caressed her head lovingly and asked her from when she LL be beginning her physiotherapy sessions but Mehak wasn't sure. She just told both the ladies that first she would search for some motive in life and then she would decide that was the physical and mental agony worth at that point of her life. She asked for some more time from them and they agreed telling her to make her mind soon. 

Kanta went away to her room to tell the same to Jeevan and Aman. Nehal helped Mehak freshen up and then they both came back to the room and sat on the bed again. Nehal told her that Shaurya was there to meet her earlier in the day and she didn't let him meet her because he didn't help a friend on the right path rather went on with her stubbornness. Mehak felt happy that he came to meet her but she was disappointed that Nehal didn't let him meet her. She told Nehal that she wanted to meet him. Nehal told that he was off to Mumbai and was supposed to work on some project and would be unavailable from then on. She if wanted could however call him but Nehal said she won't let her contact him till she decides to start her physiotherapy. Mehak said it wasn't fair and Nehal told her she knew what she was doing. Suddenly an idea hit her and she went out if the room and she called Nikki and told her something promising something big in return. She then came back to the room, wrote Shaurya's number on a paper ,put it in an envelope and kept it on the top shelf of her almirah and deleted the contact from her phone. She told Mehak that the choice was her's that if she wanted to contact him or not. She emotionally blackmailed Mehak to say yes to the physiotherapy. Mehak pouted and said that if Shaurya was a friend then he would contact on his own, Nehal told her to wait and watch. 

Nehal told her that this time she was determined and if she was determined then no way in hell she would let there be a contact till she gets what she wanted. Nehal laughed victoriously and Mehak just turned her head on the other side. Nehal went out of the room and called Shaurya, she didn't really delete his contact but just changed the name of the contact. Shaurya picked up after one ring expecting it to be Mehak. Nehal told her everything and took the promise that he won't contact her for at least two days till she promises to start her therapy. Shaurya said okay but asked how she will make Mehak believe that he wants to contact her but she wasn't letting him. Nehal said she had the plan for that too. She gave him the number of the landline and asked him to just say hello Mehak and also say that he really wanted to talk to her and that is when she would enter and cut the call disconnecting the line. Shaurya agreed but said that he thought she was being very hard on her. Nehal told him that she was very lenient with her for two years and that didn't work out so the hard way was what she was left with. She disconnected the call asking Shaurya to call at 10 am the next day morning. She involved everyone in the plan making Mehak realize the importance of standing up on her feet again. They made Plan on what to do other than Shaurya's call and they were ready with the full fledged plan till dinner and the execution was to start right from the time of dinner. Aman was enjoying the most because he was being allowed willingly by the adults to be naughty.
