He didn’t have to quiz him over text, he was actually at his school at 1 PM because Jaidrith had told off some kid

The issue was the kid had mocked him for calling Aatreya Atty and not Dad

So the kid had mocked him that he was not even his biological father just someone “mother as hooking up with”

Mrunalini was very strict and didn’t not let him use or abuse certain words

So Jaidrith didn’t actually catch the meaning until the boy had made a kissing gesture

Thankfully he hadn’t yelled or thrown a punch just told him his Dad looks like a monkey so he was jealous of Atty (Yeah! Lame! But that was the best Dhru could do)

Mr Sen and Mrunalini were reviewing a guest claim issue with Legal she couldn’t answer her phone

Having another parent is a blessing and Mrunalini realized when she returned the call later and then showed up after ditching work at 2 PM

Atty was ready to bring him home

“Didn’t u see my text?” he smiled handing her Dhru’s gym bag

“My battery died when I returned to my desk and read the text, my car charger is lost”

She looked nervous and afraid

“What happened?”

“Hes a great kid he did nothing wrong”

“Kya hua?”

He explained everything as they walked to their cars

“DHRUUUU”

“Give him time Mrunalini”

“How much time Aatreya? I mean hitting punching pulling, he already has no friends”

“I HAVE MANY FRIENDS” Dhru screamed

“Yeah right!”

“I have SO many friends” he began to cry

Aatreya was furious with her

“How can you do this?”

“I am teaching him not to use bad words”

“I JUST told u his response was piddly”

“He should just ignore”

“I WILL NOT ignore” Dhru yelled at her

“Chalaaa” she ordered with the door open

“Umm… NOOO I am going with Atty”

“U have chess, u are going to try tennis tonight” she warned

“Aaai I want to go with Atty”

“How about I bring him at 6?”

“Then I have to go back to work” That prospect bummed her more than she could ever imagine

“U could go with us, I was hoping to take him swimming with me”

“YOU don’t have to work?” she accused

He began to laugh

She realized she had missed Sameena’s appointment last week

She also realized she  was marginally less anxious

The first time ever she had missed a therapy appointment

“I can go see a friend”

“I KNOW who” Dhru was beinga stinker

“No u don’t”

“Its SAMEENA”  he laughed

“Nope”

“Yes it is, you missed ur appointment last Tuesday” he had a supercomputer like memory

“I don’t.. I didn’t” she swallowed “Pfft… I don’t have appointments”

Aatreya didn’t push

“I can pick him up after my appointment” she blurted accidentally

“Oh? Great”

Jaidrith was inside Aatreya’s car playing with the touch screen

She kept a side eye on him

“She is my therapist” she said quietly

“Great” he nodded blandly

“It was a lot to deal with u know his allergies my work pressure, single parenting” she said softly

“I cannot even imagine” he nodded somberly

“K my secret’s out” she rubbed her forehead cringing

Looking away and then back at him

“My secret’s out, so what is yours?” she challenged
