Let's Go Shopping....

Yesterday I went shopping!

Shopping for all things pretty and beautiful.

From earings to necklace,

Lipstick to nail paint and 

checked everything on my list. 

My mom beside me,

Helped me chose and accessorise,

Just like all mothers to be precise. 

And just standing there,

I admired her. 

She is something! 

I thought to myself. 

She held a necklace, 

placing it over my neck she smiled.

"Look shona! 

This looks so pretty on you!"

All looked at her quite strangely. 

But ignoring all those looks, 

her eyes were glued to the piece,

Waiting for an answer from me. 

I nodded my head with a smile

and tears in my eyes,

And she packed it for me.
