Love is Not a Crime.
When walking holding hands
across the street,
We were considered friends,
Today after so long,
Is looked at as a western trend.
Maybe you were right,
We hadn't to come out now,
Amongst this mad World.
Only then I think,
we would be able to walk,
holding hands across the street.
The world is mad,
and trust me when I say it.
Here, I face no hate
neither I think anyone does.
We are accepted for who we are,
Unlike the double faces.
The home which was my paradise,
Is now engulfed in deep silence.
Where only cries can be heard,
Of my mom cursing me for being me.
Tomorrow when being me is not a crime,
For the sake of our love,
Cheer for me aloud.
So that when I hear you,
I feel that our love has won.
And so have the people,
Who lost their lives to society's evil.
