Zee TV's Jodha Akbar again in trouble, 90 members quit the show!

Owing to some in-house issues, 90 members who were associated with Ekta Kapoorâ€™s magnum opus Jodha Akbar have unanimously quit the show recently.

Ekta Kapoor's magnum opus Jodha Akbar has been surrounded by controversies ever since it started. Earlier, the show landed in a chaotic situation when the makers were accused of distorting the historical facts about the Rajputs in the show. Subsequently, a Ahmedabad based lawyer had also filed a case against the television queen, followed by aggressive protests by the Rajput community.

If that wasn't enough, what we hear now is that a large number of unit members have left the show. Says a reliable source, "90 people who were associated with the show Jodha Akbar have quit the show. It was an unanimous decision by all of them which includes the production staff, spot boys, the creatives and few assistant directors."

On being questioned about the reason behind this matter, our source went on to say, "The genuine reason behind so many people walking out of the show is the Director Santram Verma. Everybody has been facing major problems because of his dominating attitude. If any person fails to follow his immoral orders, then he makes their life difficult."

Looking at the state of affairs, it seems the show is facing a tough time. Furthermore, our sources added, "At present, the circumstances are such that the production house has managed to appoint a bunch of new staff, therefore, the shoot is moving on a slow pace. However, it's distressing for the 90 members who were on a daily wage task and are jobless now due to one person. Not only these 90 people but their entire family is being affected it."

Truly a sad state of affairs!
