YRKKH: Emotions run high in tonight's episode as Abhir comes to know of Akshara & Abhinav losing the custody

In the episode of Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight, Abhimanyu experiences a profound sense of despair and pain. He laments the unfairness of life, realizing that no one can have everything. Although he has found Abhir, he recognizes the injustice that has befallen Akshara. Concerned for her well-being, he contemplates discussing the situation with her.

Aarohi congratulates Abhimanyu on his legal victory, but he confesses that he feels defeated and incapable of winning anything. He acknowledges that he has gained his son, Abhir, legally and doesn't feel guilty about it. However, he expresses remorse for Akshara's loss of Abhir. Abhimanyu explains to Aarohi that he was unaware of Abhir's true paternity, assuring her that she shouldn't feel deceived because fate has played a cruel trick on them. He tries to justify himself, sharing that he had initially fought for Abhir's custody with the intention of losing, hoping Akshara and Abhinav would prevail. He never expected to win custody himself.

Despite his happiness to live his life with Ruhi and Abhir, Aarohi notices that Abhimanyu isn't genuinely joyful. She points out that he fails to see Akshara's pain. Abhimanyu admits his oversight, revealing that he doesn't wish ill for Akshara and Abhinav, which is why their suffering affects his own happiness. He feels an internal sadness due to the court battle and Akshara's distress. Abhimanyu prays for Akshara's well-being. Aarohi questions how they will handle the situation with Ruhi, and Abhimanyu assures her that Ruhi will always be his daughter. He believes it's his right to reveal the truth to her.

Abhimanyu desires for Abhir and Ruhi to be together and take care of each other. He is certain that Ruhi will embrace the news positively. As a heartbroken Akshara arrives home with Abhinav, their family members become extremely concerned. Abhir, thinking his parents have won the court case, surprises them with a celebration, complete with balloons, music, and a beautiful cake. He expresses his love for his parents and assures them he won't leave because they emerged victorious.

However, when Abhir asks about the court verdict, Akshara discloses the painful truth that they lost the custody battle. She implores him to forgive them, but Abhir can't bear the weight of this devastating news and rushes to his room, locking himself inside. Abhinav tries to reach out to him, but Abhir breaks down, packing his bags and declaring his intention to go to Kasauli, refusing to stay with his biological father. In an attempt to comfort Abhir, Akshara sings a lullaby, and he tearfully binds his hands to theirs with a rope, desperate to prevent anyone from separating them. Akshara and Abhinav weep uncontrollably in this heart-wrenching moment.
