As per reports, actor Mrunal Jain is set to enter the show as a doctor while it is assumed that he would fall in love with Akshara.

Now, India Forums has learned that actress Navika Kotia is speculated to bag the show as Mrunal's onscreen sister. The catch is that Navika might play the third wheel in Akshu and Abhimanyu's love story as she will fall in love with Abhi. Buzz is that Navika'a character might turn grey after a period of time.

For the uninitiated, Navika has a deep connection with 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' as she was a part of the show when she was quite young. Yes, you read that right!

Navika played the character of Chikki in the show and had most scenes with Naksh. Also, Navika is Shivansh Kotia's real life sister. Shivansh played the character of young Duggu (Naksh) in the show.
