Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Muskaan curses Abhimanyu & Akshara, Manjiri asks the Goenkas to send her off

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight commences as Manjiri returns some items, stating that they are not needed at the moment. Shefali reassures Abhi and expresses her excitement about witnessing Abhira's love story. Abhi explains that Akshu is marrying for Abhir's sake, but Shefali encourages him to seek Akshu's love someday. Goenkas arrive, and Abhi inquires about what happened. Abhir shares that Akshu desires a grand wedding. Manjiri is surprised and expresses her willingness to talk to Akshu. Suwarna assures her not to worry, and Manish confirms that Akshu is ready for it. They all embrace and congratulate each other, while Shefali playfully teases Abhi.

Abhi and Akshu engage in a video call. Abhi expresses his happiness if she is happy. Akshu recalls their past conflicts but suggests having a court marriage. Abhi acknowledges his past mistakes and promises not to repeat them. They agree to meet the next day and say goodnight.

The next morning, Manjiri discusses Abhi and Akshu's marriage with a pandit. Muskaan arrives and reveals her discontent, stating that she cannot pretend to be happy about the marriage. Manjiri is taken aback and insists that everyone else is pleased with the union. Muskaan blames Abhi for Abhinav's death and predicts that he will bring unhappiness to Akshu and Abhir. She trusts that divine intervention will punish Abhi. Pandit offers them prasad and wishes them happiness. Muskaan reiterates her belief in divine justice and leaves. Manjiri receives a call and discusses wedding preparations with Manish. She requests that Muskaan not be involved in the wedding. Manish is shocked but agrees. Abhir helps Abhi get ready, and Akshu arrives, leaving Abhi mesmerized. Dadi and Surekha express their shock and disappointment at Manjiri's request to keep Muskaan away from the wedding.

Suwarna explains that Muskaan's behavior is problematic, and Manjiri's request is reasonable to prevent Akshu from feeling guilty due to Muskaan's actions. Kairav overhears their conversation and leaves. Abhi notices his family practicing a dance routine and asks for simpler steps. Ruhi suggests calling Kairav for the song list. Aarohi contacts Kairav, who pretends to be happy and claims they have too much office work. Kairav lies to Abhi about his reasons for not participating in the dance. Manjiri suspects that Manish might have spoken to Kairav about Muskaan. Abhi attempts to reassure Kairav, who insists on the importance of Abhi, Akshu, and Abhir's happiness.

Meanwhile, Abhir helps Akshu try on jewelry, and Manish compliments her. Akshu asks Abhir to go and study, and Suwarna suggests she select the jewelry herself. Kairav and Muskaan arrive with their bags.

Precap: Dadi suggests starting with a Ganpati puja, and Suwarna reminds Manjiri that Akshu is supposed to make the idol. Akshu starts making the idol but is interrupted by a thief entering through the window. They engage in a fight.
