Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Geetanjali gets defensive after Abhira is mistaken for Maira's mother

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira encourages Maira to perform with confidence and grace. With a gentle smile, she urges Maira to enjoy the dance, which inspires the young girl. Watching the two from a distance, Armaan feels a strange sense of peace, witnessing their bond.

As Maira takes the stage, her performance captivates the audience. A girl sitting in the crowd turns to her mother and expresses admiration, suggesting that Maira might win the competition. Hearing this, the mother becomes uneasy and decides to tamper with Maira's act to boost her own daughter's chances.

However, Abhira catches the woman in the act and intervenes. She firmly advises the woman to uplift her own daughter rather than pull another child down. After the dance ends, Maira excitedly asks Abhira for feedback. Abhira lovingly praises her, boosting her confidence further.

Meanwhile, Armaan watches them interact and wonders why their closeness warms his heart, despite knowing that Abhira, if she learns the truth, might take Maira (Pookie) away from him. With that fear, he makes a quick decision to take Maira away before the truth unravels.

On the other hand, Vidya and Kaveri decide to return home briefly to bring more sarees for their stall. During this time, Anshuman checks the results of the cultural fest and informs them that their stall has won an award. The women are stunned, and Anshuman gets to see their different and happy side and assumes it's because of all the struggles they've recently faced.

Elsewhere, Krish notices Manoj, Manisha, and Kajal enjoying a light-hearted moment. Feeling positive, he offers a legal case to Manoj, but Manoj humbly declines, saying he's content with smaller cases. Krish then inquires about Kiara, and Manisha tells him she's with her friends. When Krish asks Kajal to prepare some dal-chawal, she replies that Tanya has already sent a meal, leaving Krish upset and disappointed.

Back at the event, Maira is declared the winner of the competition. Anshuman also reveals to Abhira that her stall was among the winners.

Abhira then realises Maira is missing and immediately panics, blaming herself. Eventually, Maira reunites with Armaan. He asks her to promise never to leave him again, and she solemnly agrees. Just as they are about to leave, Geetanjali reminds Maira to collect her award. Since Maira isn't present at the moment, Abhira accepts the prize on her behalf.

Later, Maira and Geetanjali approach the host to collect her award. The host informs them that a woman who was with Maira had already accepted it on her behalf, assuming she was Maira’s mother. Hearing this, Geetanjali becomes visibly upset and firmly clarifies that Abhira is not Maira’s mother. The host explains that Abhira’s concern for Maira made it feel like she truly was. Just then, Maira turns to Geetanjali and asks how they will find Abhira now, leaving Geetanjali deeply worried.

Meanwhile, a worried Abhira, along with Vidya and Kaveri, sets out to search for Maira. Anshuman also joins in to help. In another scene, Krish vents his frustration to Tanya, saying he tried to maintain good relations with the Poddars for her sake, but now regrets it. Tanya encourages him to stay calm and speaks about the importance of family unity. Both Manisha and Kajal quietly admire Tanya's maturity.

While Vidya is searching for Maira at the fest, Armaan spots her from a distance. Seeing her brings a wave of emotions for him. He assumes she's probably here shopping for the family and, for a moment, wonders if he still holds a place in that family. His heart gets heavy thinking about whether she ever misses him.

His mind goes back to the last time they spoke, and he remembers how rudely he behaved with her. Even today, he still carries the guilt of that moment. He silently wonders if she still holds that anger or if she has let go and forgiven him.

As Vidya walks ahead, she stumbles, and her slipper slips off. She struggles to find it while staying focused on locating Maira. Armaan quietly walks up and helps by slipping the chappal back onto her foot. Vidya, still preoccupied and not looking down, absentmindedly places her hand on his head as a blessing and thanks him, not realising it's Armaan.

She then walks away, but after a few steps, she feels something in her heart and turns around. At the exact same moment, Armaan also turns his back to leave. Vidya calls out to him, but before Armaan can turn around, she walks away.

Watching this emotional exchange from a distance, Kaveri begins to sense a deeper connection and starts to suspect that the girl might actually be Pookie. When she asks what's wrong, Kaveri, still stunned, hints that the long-lost bond they were searching for may have just come to light. Abhira, confused by her reaction, tries to understand who she is referring to.
