Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Gaurav Sharma opens up on his forthcoming stint in Jhanak: 'A man from..'

Star Plus' popular show Jhanak, starring Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, and Chandni Sharma, started off with an intense love triangle and has kept viewers hooked with its twists and emotional drama. Fans were thrilled when the story seemed to head towards a happy ending — Arshi moved on with Siddharth, and Jhanak accepted Aniruddha's marriage proposal. However, just when everything appeared perfect, a major twist turned the story in a new direction.

The show is now set to take a four-year leap. The new promo shows a completely changed Jhanak. She is seen dressed in a simple saree, wearing minimal jewelry, and with her hair braided. What surprises everyone the most is her new Bhojpuri accent, a big change from her earlier Bengali roots. This makeover hints at a major transformation in her life and a fresh beginning in a village setting.

Adding to the excitement, actor Gaurav Sharma has joined the cast. Gaurav, known for his role as Yuvraaj in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and last seen in Badal Pe Paon Hain, will play a crucial role after the leap.

India Forums got in touch with Gaurav, and he shared, "I'm entering Jhanak with a very interesting and different role. I play Parashar, a man from a village who leads the people there. He offers shelter to Jhanak and becomes an important part of her new journey. It's a completely different world and story setup."

Gaurav added, "I don't know much about the overall track yet, but what I can say is that there's a lot of scope in this character, which really excites me as an actor."

With new twists, a fresh setting, and new characters, Jhanak promises to keep the audience entertained and curious about what's next.
