Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Fans upset over Abhimanyu-Akshara’s separation

The current track of Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has not gone down well with the fans and they’ve expressed their opinions on social media.

Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ took an unexpected turn with the current track revolving around Abhimanyu- Akshara’s separation. In a drastic turn of events, the show witnessed one of the shocking twists with Neil’s death and Akshara’s apparent miscarriage.

Birla and Goenka families are shattered with the tragedy. Manjiri and Aarohi has blamed Akshara for the incident. Despite Abhi’s strict instructions, Akshu takes Neil with him out for the concert and they indulge in a fight with goons. In the course of action, Neil passes away while Akshu loses her babies. Abhimanyu also gets devastated with the tragedy. In the upcoming episodes, Abhi blames Akshu for all the issues that they faced from Sirat’s death to Niel’s death and losing their babies. Akshu leaves the hpuse helplessly.

She randomly sits in a bus and meets a new character which will be played by Jay Soni. Sources have it that the show might take a leap, post which Akshu will deliver a baby while Abhimanyu and Aarohi might get married. The track has not gone down well with the viewers and they have expressed their thoughts on social media. They’ve opposed the separation and the extreme that the characters went in the crucial time frame.

While people are visibly upset with the track, they've been applauding actors Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's performances in the show.

Pathetic and way too regressive , star plus in its hunger and greed spoiled the whole show and DKP suppoting them was big blow. Very regressive thinking and track star plus

Network and Production house clearly need a reality check. Agree it's their owned creation, but viewers signup knowing genre, to an extent storyline and most importantly knowing the brand (Star and DKP) a certain standard and consistency.
Clearly the teams execution failed, network demands for business perhaps. Irrespective viewers are paying a price for the regressive content shown and wasted potential of unexplored storylines for the best pairing in a really longtime. Taking leaps is also reducing longevity of story. The least I would have expected is for them to not stoop as low on the last one month tracks and camouflaging this regressive storyline with mushy scenes hurting audience emotions more. Sorry for them if they think this is striking an emotional chord it's just breaking audience trust.
What's worser is all the buzz being created on alternate pairing of leads. Why sell a book with unreal preview? That's just plain CHEATING
