Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Daksh longs for Rohit; Abhira grows uncertain about proceeding with surrogacy

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira brings Ruhi's sarees from her room, to which Ruhi expresses her gratitude. She confides in Abhira, saying she can't stay in the same room that holds memories of Rohit. Sensing her emotional turmoil, Abhira suggests she move into her room and gently reminds her that they need to visit the doctor. However, Ruhi refuses to wear anything bright, saying such colours bring back memories of Rohit. Understanding her pain, Abhira tells her to wear whatever she's comfortable in. Ruhi then asks if she can borrow one of Abhira's dresses, leaving Abhira overwhelmed with emotion.

Elsewhere, Kiara finds out from a delivery man that Abhir has been meeting someone secretly, leading her to grow suspicious of Charu. Meanwhile, Abhira learns that Madhav is considering resigning from his job. Vidya tries to convince him to hold off on making such a decision immediately and urges him to wait a bit longer.

In another part of the house, Abhira attempts to pacify an upset Daksh. She asks Armaan to step in and handle the situation. Armaan, still grieving the loss of Rohit, feels burdened with guilt for surviving while his brother is gone. Abhira empathises and suggests that Daksh might be struggling with the absence of his father. As Ruhi breaks down emotionally, Abhira steps in to console both Armaan and Daksh.

Later, Kiara, Charu, Aryan, and Krish sit down to talk about Rohit's favourite film. The conversation becomes slightly tense, prompting Madhav and Vidya to remind everyone that Rohit was loved by all and arguments won't bring him back. To honour Rohit's memory, the family agrees to watch his favourite movie together.

Ruhi tells Abhira that visiting the doctor reminds her of Rohit, which is why she's been avoiding it. Meanwhile, Kiara continues to question Charu and Abhir's interactions. She recalls seeing Abhir drop Charu off and suspects they're no longer in contact. But she later sees a message exchange where Abhir tells Charu he didn't come inside due to Ruhi, and Charu acknowledges his concern. Kiara feels reassured, believing Charu wouldn't betray her.

On the other hand, Armaan pays a visit to Shivani's house and finds himself growing anxious over her. When Abhira notices his discomfort, she tries to soothe him. Armaan confesses he feels like a complete failure. Abhira offers him reassurance, saying healing will take time and that things will eventually settle.

Soon after, Ruhi calls Abhira, sounding distressed. Both Abhira and Armaan become concerned upon receiving the call. Ruhi breaks down and admits she was too focused on her own grief and hadn't thought about the baby. She requests them to take her to the doctor for a check-up. Armaan tries to get an appointment but struggles since it's late at night.

Ruhi begins to panic, fearing for the unborn child. Seeing this, Abhira starts to doubt herself, wondering if she was wrong to push Ruhi into surrogacy. However, Ruhi reminds herself that it was her own decision and promises to be more cautious from now on and sleeps concerned for Pookie's health. Meanwhile, Daksh longs for his father as he gazes at Rohit's photograph, subtly hinting to Armaan by pointing towards it. Understanding the gesture, Armaan gently takes Daksh to the photo, and the little one holds the frame close to his heart. The moment tugs at the emotions of both Armaan and Abhira, who are deeply affected by Daksh's silent grief. At the same time, Abhira begins to question whether encouraging Ruhi to go ahead with surrogacy during such an emotionally fragile time was the right decision.

In the precap, Abhira tells Vidya that it would be unfair to compel Armaan to take up a role in the firm. But Vidya insists that Armaan is a lawyer and will eventually find his way back. Abhira feels Vidya is wrong to put that pressure on him. Vidya then directly asks Armaan to take Rohit's place in the firm, leaving him shocked and unsure of what to do.
