Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara takes the blame of Aarohi's accident on herself for the sake of Ruhi

In the episode of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' tonight, the story unfolds with Akshara (Pranali Rathod) accompanying Aarohi (Karishma Sawant) to the operation theatre alongside Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda). Aarohi expresses concern about Ruhi's (Hera Mishra) whereabouts. Akshara reassures her that they've reached the hospital and she'll soon be well. Sadly, Aarohi believes she won't make it and asks Akshara to care for Ruhi.

Despite Akshara's attempts to comfort her, Aarohi takes her last breath, thinking of Neel, and passes away. The news spreads rapidly, and Akshara's anguished cries draw a crowd. Abhimanyu closes Aarohi's eyes as Akshara clings to her hand.

As more people from the Birla and Goenka families arrive at the hospital, they struggle to accept Aarohi's death. Manish arrives and instructs Abhimanyu to take Aarohi to the hospital while advising Akshara to pray. However, Ruhi's pleas prevent them from taking Aarohi inside. Ruhi implores her mother to wake up, vowing to be good and never do anything wrong.

Abhimanyu consoles Ruhi, holding her tightly while she yearns for Aarohi. Finally realizing Aarohi's passing, Manish breaks down.

Later, in her room, Akshara blames herself for Aarohi's departure and wonders why Aarohi had to leave them when Ruhi was so young. Meanwhile, Manjari questions how this tragedy occurred. Akshara confesses to Abhimanyu that it's her fault and she should have acted faster to prevent Ruhi from releasing the handbrake.

Shocked, Abhimanyu learns that Ruhi was the one who released the handbrake and questions why Ruhi was in the car. Akshara admits she didn't know why Ruhi wanted to drive the car but regrets not paying closer attention to stop the car earlier. She rushes to inform everyone about her mistake.

Surekha tells Manjari that Aarohi was hit by their car while Akshara was driving, but Manish scolds her, refusing to believe that Akshara could be responsible. Akshara arrives and confesses that Aarohi's death is her fault because she hadn't properly parked the car and left the handbrake down.Swarna becomes angry and demands to know why Akshara was in the car when Aarohi drove it. Surekha condemns Akshara, saying that Aarohi always acted as the elder sister and cared for her. Swarna feels that she's been shortchanged in life and now her life has been cut short.

Suhasini defends Akshara, asking Swarna to stop blaming her since she is also devastated by her sister's death. Manish blames Akshara, stating that he lost his daughter once again because of her negligence. Suhasini urges Manish to stop blaming Akshara, emphasizing that it was an accident and not anyone's fault.

In a later conversation, Abhimanyu questions Akshara's decision to take the blame instead of revealing Ruhi's fault. Akshara explains that she can't let Ruhi bear the guilt of her mother's death and makes Abhimanyu promise not to reveal Ruhi's involvement, as Ruhi has no one left except him.Kairav seeks Manish's signature on Aarohi's death certificate form and advises him not to leave Akshara alone. Manish, burdened by the loss of one daughter due to another, expresses his helplessness in this tragic situation. Surekha asks Akshara to away from Ruhi.

Akshu seeks Manish's blessing before departing with Abhi. As they make their way out, Abhi halts Akshu and declares his love, promising to accompany her wherever she chooses to go.
