Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara and Abhimanyu's sangeet preparations commence

The episode begins with Abhi and Akshu declining to accept a gift. Everyone inquires about Abhi's desires, and Dadi reminds him of his mother's blessings. She hands Akshu Naira's dupatta, emphasizing that it's not just a gift but a symbol of celebration. Akshu becomes emotional and leaves, with Kairav expressing concern. Dadi reassures everyone that Akshu will be fine.

Holding the dupatta, Akshu confides, "I love you, Maa. I wish you were here to guide me in raising Abhir." Abhi joins her, assuring her that their mother is still with them, as is their father. He gently folds the dupatta and shares his own uncertainties about resembling his parents.

Akshu acknowledges their imperfect childhood and their desire to provide a better one for their child. She questions if their motives are selfish, and Abhi reassures her, explaining their intentions.

Feeling grateful, Akshu thanks him and suggests they head to the choreographer. At the dance studio, the instructor criticizes the group, saying her young students perform better. She jokes about the elders' dancing abilities and advises Akshu and Abhi to perform at the end of the event, when guests will be focused on the food. She urges them to practice and teaches them the dance steps.

Later, Aarohi encounters Sujeet's inappropriate behavior towards a family member and is upset. She goes to her room, drinks water, and contemplates whether to remain silent or speak out. She decides to stand up against it, as she wants to set an example for her daughter Ruhi.

Akshu approaches Aarohi and asks what happened. Aarohi initially avoids the question, blaming work stress and fatigue. However, Akshu senses something amiss and promises to find out the truth.

Later, Akshu participates in her mehendi ceremony, and Abhi gazes at her lovingly. The family prepares for the celebration, and Akshu, fasting for Navratri, refuses food. Aarohi inquires about the henna cones, and Abhir and Ruhi suggest applying mehendi with peacock feathers, reminiscing about old times. Abhi and Akshu share a heartfelt moment as they recall their past memories.
