Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara & Abhimanyu decide to never hug each other again after their last hug

The Laddu predicament: 

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight begins with Akshu expressing her belief that everything happens for a reason, seeing it as a sign from Bappa. Abhi is curious about the sign, and Akshu mentions that someone in the house is skilled at making laddoos – their mother. However, she adds that their mother is afraid of fire. Akshu sees this as an opportunity to help their mother overcome her fear, and Manish agrees, thinking it's a great idea. They all head to the kitchen and indulge in some laddoos while Akshu inquires about the ingredients. The rest of the family shares the recipe with her.

Meanwhile, Muskaan approaches Kairav, who moves away from her. Mahima suggests the kids eat some fruit, but they decline, as Abhi reveals that the fruits contain cashews. Akshu is concerned about how they will prepare the prasad. Manjiri overhears their conversation, and Anand wonders whether they should make other arrangements for the prasad. Mahima doubts their ability to make it, and Manjiri appears anxious.

Manjiri overcomes her fear: 

In the kitchen, chaos ensues as everyone struggles to make the laddoos. Dadi suggests checking if there was jaggery left, and Aarohi reveals that Kairav ate the last laddoo. This prompts everyone to ask him to leave. Akshu is left wondering how to proceed, and Abhir and Ruhi turn to Manjiri for help.

Manjiri enters the kitchen, and Akshu asks her to take charge. With a determined attitude, Manjiri steps up and volunteers to make the laddoos. Everyone smiles and exits the kitchen, leaving Akshu and Abhi alone. Akshu asks if she should light the stove, and Manjiri hesitates. Abhi reassures her and offers his support. As Akshu lights the stove, Abhi encourages her not to worry since they have water nearby. Akshu jokes that he has to do everything now, and Manjiri guides her. However, Akshu struggles, and Manjiri eventually takes over the cooking. Akshu and Abhi share a smile.

Akshara and Abhimanyu's heartfelt hug: 

Later, Mahima asks Manjiri if she managed to make the laddoos, to which Manjiri nods. Mahima praises her as a brave sister, and Manish acknowledges that Manjiri isn't afraid of fire. Manjiri credits Abhi for helping her overcome her fear, and they share an emotional moment. Ruhi comments on how elders tend to cry, prompting them to continue with the puja. They all perform the aarti and dance to the song "Morya," with Kairav playing the dhol. Abhi and Akshu notice Manjiri's smiling face, and Abhi believes that his mother's fear has been conquered. Akshu agrees, and they express their faith that everything will be perfect now, with Bappa's blessings. They share a heartfelt hug.

Akshara and Abhimanyu's awkwardness: 

During a work call, Akshu reminisces about her moments with Abhi. Meanwhile, Abhi talks to a doctor but decides to call back later. Akshu suggests they call back together, and they both contemplate their feelings for each other, unsure of how to proceed. They eventually agree to promise each other that they won't hug anymore. 

Precap: Abhi recalls Manjiri, and Akshu reassures him that it's not his fault. He appreciates her understanding and embraces her.
