Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira fakes drunkenness and insults Dadi to be expelled from the Poddar mansion

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with everyone enthusiastically decorating pots. Manisha expresses satisfaction with the activity, explaining that they will donate the decorated pots to an NGO, which will then sell them to raise funds. Dadi agrees, emphasising her desire to assist the NGO. The group applauds their efforts. A lady inquires about Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) whereabouts, prompting Ruhi (Pratiksha Honade) to volunteer to fetch her. Dadi points out that it's already 10 am, suggesting that Abhira would have joined them if she intended to. Armaan (Shehzada Dhami) wishes for everything to remain harmonious at home, expressing concern about Abhira potentially causing trouble.

Abhira feigns being intoxicated:

Abhira enters, appearing disoriented and pretending to be drunk. Her behaviour shocks everyone present. The lady accuses her of being intoxicated, but Abhira denies it, insisting that she's fine and questioning what's happening. She accidentally ruins a pot while attempting to decorate it, which Manisha reveals to be Vidya's. Despite the mishap, Abhira offers to fix it, claiming she's helping Ruhi. Ruhi, however, urges her to stop. Abhira defies Ruhi, accusing her of trying to prevent her from assisting. She then addresses Dadi at her level, making light-hearted remarks at Dadi's expense, much to Dadi's anger. Dadi reprimands Abhira sternly and orders her to go to her room immediately. Abhira runs off and hides behind a sofa, finding humour in Dadi's reaction.

Meanwhile, Armaan is preoccupied with work, feeling uneasy about the day and sensing that something might go wrong. Dadi confronts Abhira, expressing her disappointment and asserting that Abhira has crossed a line. Ruhi supports Dadi's decision, but Abhira continues to mock and provoke Dadi, which only worsens the situation. Dadi eventually loses her patience and harshly condemns Abhira's behaviour, effectively disowning her and banishing her from the household.

Ruhi finds a lead:

Abhira retreats in tears while reflecting on her actions and the consequences. Dadi, despite her outward composure, is deeply hurt by the turn of events, lamenting Abhira's ingratitude despite her efforts to accept and accommodate her. Ruhi ponders Abhira's behaviour, acknowledging her flaws but also recognising her underlying humanity and struggles.

Later, as Armaan returns home, Ruhi discovers messages on Abhira's phone from someone named Yuvraj, indicating a problematic situation. Yuvraj awaits Abhira and, upon her arrival, attempts to manipulate her with promises of love and a lavish wedding in Dubai. Ruhi is torn between exposing Abhira's sacrifice to protect Vidya and her own conflicted feelings about Abhira potentially getting closer to Armaan.

Armaan refuses to believe:

In a tense confrontation, Armaan refuses to believe that Abhira could act so recklessly, while Dadi pressures Ruhi to choose between her loyalty to the family's reputation and her sympathy for Abhira. Meanwhile, Yuvraj persists in his advances towards Abhira, culminating in Armaan intervening and physically confronting him, hinting at a potential escalation of tensions.
