Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira asserts to Armaan that their marriage is only on papers & not in reality

The episode commences with Manish extending his congratulations, noting that Ruhi's varmala ceremony went smoothly. Vidya questions his remark, and Suwarna explains that the varmala ritual has historically encountered obstacles. Lightening the mood, Manoj jests about Manisha, eliciting laughter from everyone. Expressing his desire for Ruhi and Armaan's marriage to be free of hurdles, Manish emphasizes their eternal happiness. The pandit instructs Akshu to perform the kanyadaan, and tearfully, Akshu gives Abhira's hand to Armaan. Simultaneously, Manish gives Ruhi's hand to Rohit, who exchanges meaningful glances with Ruhi. Charu ties the ghatbandhan, and amid the wedding rituals, Akshu is requested to sign some papers.

The scene unfolds to the melodious tune of "Yeh Rishta Kya…," and playful banter surrounds Ruhi. Rohit reassures everyone of his commitment to always support her. Meanwhile, Armaan and Abhira sign the necessary documents. Realizing the absence of sindoor, Kipling apologizes, but Abhira reassures him, stating that the signatures suffice. Akshu intervenes, rejecting the mangalsutra, but Abhira wonders how to arrange for it at this moment. Spotting a nearby temple, Akshu expresses confidence that Kanha Ji won't let the marriage remain incomplete. Armaan retrieves sindoor from the temple and adorns Abhira's forehead. Simultaneously, Rohit fills Ruhi's maang, and both couples exchange mangalsutras. The ceremony concludes with applause and blessings from the family.

The joyous occasion takes a sudden turn when Manish, feeling restless, collapses. Concerned faces surround him, and amid the chaos, Abhira is shocked to witness Akshu's deteriorating condition. The episode closes with preparations for Akshara's final rites, and emotions run high as Ruhi expresses her sense of loss.
