Yash on collaborating with Bollywood directors: If they can present me how fans want then why not

The buzz for KGF Chapter 2 has been increasing all across the globe. Fans are eagerly awaiting to watch the film on the big screen and witness the rocking star Yash back with his killer looks and persona.

Today, a press conference was held for the cast and crew of the film and everyone, including sar Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt and director Prashant Neel graced the event.

They shed light on the film, the expectations fans should have and the emotional quotient attached to it.

We asked Yash that as many pan Indian movies are coming up and South actors are receiving immense love and acceptance by the whole country, would he like to collaborate with Bollywood or Hindi cinema directors in the future?

Sharing his views on the same, he said, 

"Yes why not, I always beleived it's the director's vision and as an actor you are only as good as your movie and as good as your director can imagine you. So today if you see this Rocky or this KGF, it is Prashant's imagination and he loves his heros so much that he presents it that way so if there is any director who can present me the way that audience wants to see me or my fans want to see me, then why not".

He also added,

 "I don't have any difference between directors if they are from Hindi, Tamil or telegu, it's just that they have to do a movie by keeping everybody in mind, if they are doing so then why not".

Yash also shared his thoughts on how KGF 2 is about a son and a mother's story where the son is fulfilling his mother's dream and that it has an emotional connect to it. Director Prashant Neel shed light on choosing this cast for the film and mentioned that he already had Sanjay Dutt's name as Adheera in mind while he had begun the scripting.

KGF Chapter 2 is a sequel to KGF and is directed by Prashant Neel. The film is also set to hit the big screens on 14th April.
