Yami Gautam summoned by ED in a money laundering case; hubby Aditya Dhar under scanner?

Bollywood actress was issued a summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday (July 2). The Bala actress has been called on for questioning in connection to the alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

Yami Gautam has been asked to appear before the ED next week to record her statement in connection to alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

Unlike Yami, many big-banner Bollywood films are currently under the scanner for money laundering.

The 32-year-old actress made it to the headlines for her wedding with filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who is also reported to be under scanner. The case is being investigated by Zone 2 of ED. This is the second time that the actress has been summoned by the ED.

Yami Gautam got hitched to Uri director Aditya Dhar in an intimate wedding ceremony last month. Taking to her social media handles, Yami posted a picture from the wedding on social media to share the good news with her fans and followers. Soon after her wedding, the actress resumed shooting for her upcoming thriller film, A Thursday.

Meanwhile, on the career front, Yami made her Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor and shot to fame with the film.

Over the years, she has worked in several big Bollywood films including Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil and Varun Dhawan-starrer Badlapur.
