Where we had an eventful and 'happening' January, full of movers and shakers in the telly world, February hasn't disappointed either.
We list down the 10 biggest news and events that happened in February catching viewers' attention.
1. An array of engagements and marriages

The biggest positive out of this month can certainly be termed to be that we witnessed happy couples much more than sad couples. The month was filled with numerous marriages and engagements which included
Faisal Raza Khan-Gazala Shaikh, Pooja Sharma-Pushkar Pandit,
Lavanya Bhardwaj-Dede Frescilla, Arya Babbar-Jasmine Puri and
Aakash Talwar-Pallavi Singh,
Neeraj Malviya-
Charu Asopa's engagement respectively. Love was certainly in the air..!

It is almost ironic that the saga of linkups and breakups go hand-in-hand in the entertainment world. Amidst all the marriages, we also witnessed two major breakups which included that of
Anas Rashid-
Rati Pandey and
Firoza Khan-Zeeshan Ali. Where Firoza confirmed her breakup news, the Anas-Rati breakup news shocked the fans totally.

Last month we reported about two major shows set for a leap where 'Udann' successfully went through one. However, the other show, '
Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' delayed its plans of implementing a leap. The leap had major names like Siddharth Shukla,
Mohit Raina and
Rishabh Sinha being the top draws set to play the grown up Ashoka. However, things didn't materialise on time and the leap has gotten delayed.
4. A series of new shows launched

Television's revolution was pretty much evident this month which witnessed several shows being launched. From comedy to drama to romance, these shows had diverse genres giving the varied choices the viewers need. The list included 'Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchan Hai', 'Naya
Akbar Birbal', 'Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi', Ek Duje Ke Vaaste', '
Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant' and 'Naya
Mahisagar'.

Another irony where the happiness of a brand new show excites, some shows were set to call curtains. Shows like '
Jaanbaaz Sindabaad', '
Chutki Shopkeepaa Aur Woh', 'Agent Raghav' and 'Saubhagyalakshmi' were in the news for set to be going off-air.
6. TV actors on the 'Big Screen'

TV Actors making a jump and going to the big screen isn't a surprising phenomenon where the likes of
Karan Singh Grover and
Gurmeet Choudhary have done it successfully in the past. However, three TV actors were seen on the big screen this month. Actors
Anuj Sachdeva and Manish Paul came up their films and actor
Arjun Bijlani made his Bollywood debut with the film, 'Direct Ishq'.
7. Bollywood actors on the 'Small Screen'

Another case of inverse occurrence where several telly actors appeared on the big screen, major Bollywood actors got all set to appear on the small screen. Television being this massive medium, that it is, it will mark the debut of Bollywood actress
Amrita Rao and veteran actress
Salma Agha, it will also see the comeback of veteran actresses,
Deepti Naval and
Zarina Wahab in the magnum opus show, '
Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai'.

Our telly actors put in their blood and sweat to entertain the viewers, literally! This month spawned a series of actors facing some injuries which included the likes of Siddharth Shukla and Tina Dutta on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi...Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda',
Divyanka Tripathi on 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatien',
Ashish Sharma on '
Siya Ke Ram'
Vandana Pathak on '
Saath Nibhana Saathiya' and
Nia Sharma on '
Jamai Raja'. However, the bravehearts and committed our actors are, they never let it affect their respective performances.

A number of shows went in for major developments when it comes to changes in the plot. However, a change in one of the actors is what grabs the attention of many. Several top shows had key characters in their show replaced by a new actor this month, which included Aishana Singh replaced by Jyotsana Chandola in '
Santoshi Maa',
Gulki Joshi replaced by
Sreejita De in '
Piya Rangrezz' and
Delnaaz Irani replaced by Tanaaz Irani in '
Jamai Raja'.

As we say, saved the best for the last..! Two of the most popular and loved actors in television made a rage in the telly world when the news of their comeback on television hit the web. Where the heatthrob of millions, actor
Barun Sobti is set to be back with a Zee Tv show,
Vivian Dsena who is currently seen in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi...Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda' will make his fiction show comeback with 'Gurdaspur'.
We can only wait and see what does next month has in store for us..!!
