Woah! Vikas Bhalla to make an EXIT from Color's Udaan

His character will die in the upcoming track of the show....

Vikas Bhalla who essays the character of Ranvijay, the antagonist in the show Udaan on Colors has been loved and appreciated by the audience.

His character indeed has set new bars and has brilliantly excelled the negative character with his acting skills. But now, it's time to say goodbye to the character.

Yes, you heard that right. The successful journey of Vikas Bhalla in the show has finally ended.

Reports suggest that since the show is taking a two-year leap, Ranvijay will be killed in the show.

The track of Ranvijay and Imli (Vidhi Pandya) joining hands to create terror in the village of Azadganj and also in the lives of Sooraj (Vijayendra Kumerai) and Chakor (Meera Deosthale) was well-received by the audience leading to good ratings as well.

When contacted Vikas, he said, "It's been an absolute pleasure playing Ranvijay Singh in Colors' flagship show Udaan, but I guess like all good things, this too must see a culmination. As everyone knows, the story is taking a time leap, and RV's character doesn't contribute to the new story line, so I feel it's a sensible decision by the creatives and the Channel to give a logical end to the character, rather than prolonging it. Would like to thank my producers Gurudev & Dhaval for this opportunity and Colors for the faith they showed in me, by entrusting me with the responsibility of portraying such a powerful and well-etched character. A special mention and thanks to my writers too, who have been leading the character dimensions from day 1. Will miss the cast and crew, having spent almost 7-8 months of long days with them. Specially our lunch breaks where all gather in one room and eat together over gossip sessions. Finally, it feels wonderful to be an integral part of Colors' 2nd flagship show after Uttaran, to have crossed the 1000 episode milestone. Cheers friends, till we meet again, in a new avatar."

A few media reports suggest that, (23 March) is the last day of Vikas on the sets of Udaan. And his character, Ranvijay's death sequence will be shot today.

Vikas bhalla is a fine actor. He played Ranvijay well and i enjoyed watching him on screen. Looking forward to the leap in Udaan. Vijayendra Kumeria and Meera Deosthale are the best

Really liked Vikas Bhallaa as Inspector Rannvijay during the Benaras Track in Udaan.

Just for the sake of giving unnecessary screenspace to one actress that is vidhi the writers have killed amazing characters..Vivaan. even the usp of the show Kamal Narayan was killed and his place was given to vidhi to give her more screenspace..and the actress was utterly unconvincing in negative role! now vikas also is made to leave. Meera Deosthale and vijayendra kumeria are absolutely fantastic as sukor. Thank god they are leads of the show otherwise their characters would hv been killed off a long time ago also...as expected Next track will also have vidhi in a very prominent role...Hope the makers don't focus on her too much..Like they did last year just before ipl..The result as we all know was horrible ratings!

Anyway veryy excited for sukor baby!! Can't wait to see their bonding with the little kid.
