WHAT? Kapil Sharma's upcoming show to not be a comedy show?

We all know that comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is returning to TV, but this time not with a comedy show but with a one-of-a-kind show.

The Kapil Sharma Show fame comedian will be back with a game show on Sony TV.

And we now hear that the show is highly inspired by the unique concept of American game show, The Hollywood Squares.

Reports suggest that, the idea of the game show revolves around two contestants who indulge in playing tic-tac to win prizes and cash.

The board for the game is a 3-3 vertical stack of open-faced cubes, which is then taken and occupied by a celebrity guest seating right in front of the desk of each contestant, followed by question and answers. The show was first seen on NBC in 1965, which later went on to become a regular series in 1966.

The background of the show also revolves around a lot of comedy and jokes known as zingers.

There are a plethora of varieties of this game show internationally. The show is very popular and has earned many accolades in the past.
