Was Sara’s Diwali encounter with Kartik and Ex Boyfriend Veer awkward?

Recently, the sad news of the lovely couple Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan’s break up started to make headlines. The duo has mutually decided to part ways, in order to focus on their professional life and career. 

Sara and Kartik bonded well while shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, but it looks like the duo is finding it difficult to spend time with each other, now that the film has wrapped up and the actors have moved on with their upcoming projects.

Well, only time will tell what the aftermath of this split will look like and whether the duo will rekindle their relationship or bounce back to being friends. However, there is no bitter feeling between the two as they recently were spotted together at a Laxmi Puja on the occasion of Diwali, hosted by Karan Johar at the Dharma office. The two were seen standing next to each other and posing for the pictures so there is no question of any awkwardness between them.

Besides Kartik, Sara also bumped into her ex-boyfriend Veer Pahariya at a Diwali party and unlikely to common belief, there was no stiff behavior between the two, a source reveals.

"Recently, Sara was seen with her exes at two separate Diwali parties held in Mumbai. It wasn’t awkward for her at all as she believes in maintaining professionalism. Sara hails from an extremely cultured background and has been known to be courteous. Throughout the parties, she maintained decency and dignified interactions with all,” a source close to the actress told Pinkvilla.

Well, this is enough proof of the fact that Sara knows how to balance her professional and personal life well. She is currently focused on her work and has two big releases next year- one being the Imtiaz Ali film titled Aaj Kal and another alongside Varun Dhawan with David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1.
