Was Ranveer insecure of Deepika working with ex Ranbir? Find out

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in November last year and have been giving us major couple goals since then. While Ranveer has bagged himself the tag of "husband of the year" and "life partner of the millennium," DP cannot stop raving about him as well. To say the least, their chemistry is palpable and we cannot help but swoon over this lovable pair, each and every time they step out together.

But before dating Ranveer, Deepika shared a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and things didn't end well for them. However, the two moved past it with time and even went on to share screen space in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.

Now during a recent interaction at India Today Conclave 2019, Ranveer was asked if he gets insecure when Deepika works with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir, the actor laughed it off by saying, "Do I seem like an insecure person, really? I am not an insecure type at all. I am extremely secure in who I am and what I am. I know that nobody can love her the way I do, so it's cool."

His response is pure gold, right? And we totally agree that he and DP make for a perfect couple.

While Ranveer and Deepika are head over heels in love, Ranbir is dating Alia Bhatt. On the work front, Ranveer shared screen space with Alia in Gully Boy and will be seen in  Kabir Khan's 83 and Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht. Deepika, on the other hand, will next feature in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak alongside Vikrant Massey.
