The film portrays the real-life story of Narendra Modi played by Vivek Oberoi. It covers his journey from being born in a low-class family and his struggles, his beginning and rise in Indian politics to becoming the Prime Minister of India.
The film has too much of patriotism but the weak script and screenplay draw the film down. A fictionalized plot as justified at the beginning of the film makes up for a poor drama.
Director Omung Kumar whose directorial debut was Mary Kom still needs to work on his craft as there's no improvement yet. While the director did an amazing job with Sarabjit, but here he failed to deliver this political drama.
Vivek Oberoi did justice to his role as he has put up his best efforts in it. Also, Zarina Wahab's performance as Modi's mother is notable. The mother-son chemistry is the one best thing from the film.
While politics has an important place in India but yet Bollywood has failed every time they tried to make a political drama. And this film will be added to the same list. The filmmakers need to be on point when they are making films on such big and well-known personalities of India
