Vivan Bhatena disappointed with Imagine..

Vivan Bhatena is quite disappointed at the way his NDTV Imagine show, Chand Ke Paar Chalo was shut within a month of the story introducing him and Amar Upadhyay's fashion house track

He says, "It seems that they had already predetermined to end the story before they began our part. May be the channel had sold the slot to Ekta Kapoor for then Bandini and Kitani Mohabbat Hai were brought in. But as these shows are not doing very well, they must be regretting taking us off air".

Vivan goes on. "We had the right concept and perfect casting. I am quite sure that we would have rocked, if the channel had given us more time. But then they know what they are doing. One of main reasons why NDTV Imagine could be shunting shows could be that they have got into a panic as most of their shows are not really clicking".

Coming to his other Zee TV show Maayka, Vivan informs that there will be major twists and turns in the story. "My character will become a father very soon, and then the family will be reduced to penury as well".

He also informs that the creative's may take a call on the show post IPL "But one of main reasons why the show is still going on is that its silly to end a property which is doing well; we  have consistently  been in the top five list  of the channel, though we have slipped a bit off late. And secondly it's quite tough to get a new show and make it sustain for even six months", the actor concludes.
