Virat Kohli’s special request for Anushka’s birthday cake revealed by the baker with an UNSEEN pic

New mom Anushka Sharma celebrated her birthday in Bengaluru with her husband, Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and other close friends back in May. Inside photos from the intimate dinner party were shared by Virat and others at the time, but now an unseen photo of the couple has surfaced, adding more charm to the memory.

On Tuesday, a Bengaluru-based baker, Uthishta Kumar, took to Instagram to share a photo and recall how Virat Kohli approached her to bake a special cake for Anushka Sharma's birthday. Anushka, dressed in a blue and white outfit, posed alongside Virat, Uthishta, and event planner Anjana Thomas. The party featured a blue and white theme with plenty of flowers and greenery, creating a picturesque setting for the celebration.

In her caption, Uthishta expressed her excitement about the opportunity. "When Virat Kohli approached me to bake a cake for Anushka Sharma's birthday, I knew I had to create something special! Nothing quite like a classic chocolate cake for a birthday celebration!" she wrote. Reflecting on her journey, she added, "From baking in my mum's oven over the weekends to making a cake for one of the most accomplished sportsmen of our era, it's been an amazing journey over the last eight years! Here's to many more years of baking special cakes for all my wonderful customers!”

Anushka Sharma turned 36 on May 1, marking her first public appearance since welcoming their son, Akaay, in February this year. Inside photos from the birthday dinner showed Anushka celebrating with Virat, Glenn Maxwell and his wife Vini Raman, and Faf Du Plessis. Virat also shared a picture on Instagram Stories of the special menu at Lupa Bengaluru, which featured Anushka’s name. "Celebrating Anushka," it read.

Virat and Anushka's love story is well-known, with the couple tying the knot on December 11, 2017. They welcomed their first baby, daughter Vamika, on January 11, 2021, and their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, on February 15, 2024.
Their absence from the high-profile Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding had created quite a chatter, but the duo chose to remain away from the glitz and glamour and relish their personal time in London.
