Virat Kohli shares a warm hug with MS. Dhoni; former's post is winning the hearts of netizens

There has always been a divided fan base when it comes to the cricketers Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. While both sportsmen are supremely popular amongst the audiences, their fans do end up creating a divide among them. But at the same time, a huge group of supporters out there love their camaraderie and ship their friendship. 

Currently, the nation is enjoying IPL 2023 and last night, we saw Dhoni's team 'Chennai Super Kings' lock horns with Virat Kohli's 'Royal Challengers Bangalore'. Following the competition, the two were seen having a good time together, which immediately became viral on social media. In addition, Kohli reconnected with the former Team India colleague during the event after a long absence, and he posted about it on social media. 

Now Virat Kohli took to his Instagram handle and shared a wholesome picture with MSD. In the candid picture, he is seen hugging Dhoni, while they got captured. Sharing the picture Virat wrote, "❤️+💛= 🇮🇳 @mahi7781."

Both had a lacklustre performance regarding their individual performances, even though Dhoni came out on top. In the first over of the 227-run chase, Kohli was out for 4(6), and Dhoni faced just one delivery before his team ran out of overs.

Faf du Plessis, the captain of the opposing team, was caught behind by Dhoni at 0 but went on to hit 62 runs off 33 balls after that. RCB gained the upper hand thanks to him and Glenn Maxwell's risky 126-run third-wicket stand, but the middle order was unable to take advantage.

Although they put on a good show, RCB could only muster 218/8 in response to CSK's 226/6 in 20 overs.
