Vikramaditya Motwane says Anurag Kashyap is his worst enemy and they might just kill each other!

Both Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane are brilliant filmmakers and extremely excellent at their job. However, there seems to be a lack of consensus between the two directors. 

The duo has collaborated for some really renowned critically acclaimed films in the past. They worked together on films like Udaan, Trapped, Bhavesh Joshi: Superhero as well as the Netflix series Sacred Games. 

Motwane and Kashyap co-directed the first season of Sacred Games, that starred Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Jatin Sarna and Kubra Sait in the lead roles. In the second season, Anurag has decided to just step in as a helping hand for the show and thus he did not visit the sets.

As per a report in BollywoodLife, Vikramaditya Motwane spoke about his rapport with Anurag and said, "We are the worst of enemies. Anurag Kashyap does not visit my set, and I do not go to his set, because we might just kill each other! We are good when it comes to eating and drinking together or hanging out, but no set visits. It is an understanding we have.”

Sacred Games is a Netflix series based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name. The script of the show is written by Varun Grover. 

Anurag is co-directing the second season with Masaan director Neeraj Ghaywan. Along with the lead cast of Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the new season also features Pankaj Tripathi, Kalki Koechlin, Luke Kenny, Ranvir Shorey, and Shobita Dhulipala among others. Season two premieres on August 15.
