Vicky Kaushal has established himself as one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors, known for stepping into the shoes of real-life characters with unparalleled conviction. The actor’s latest period drama, Chhaava, promises to be another feather in his cap. Based on the life of the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava is generating a buzz with its intriguing posters and the promise of a gripping narrative.
On January 20, Vicky shared a series of new motion posters on social media, revealing his character in various dynamic avatars inspired by the elements of earth, water, fire, and air. In one, he wields swords amidst a fiery background, embodying the rage and valor of a fearless warrior. Another shows him in full armor on the battlefield, exuding strength with a sword and shield. A third poster captures him in saffron attire by the water, bow and arrow in hand, aiming with precision. The final look depicts him in a dense forest, holding a trident and rope, brimming with determination and grit. These powerful visuals underscore the intensity and complexity of his portrayal as Sambhaji Maharaj.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. Notably, this marks the first time Rashmika will share the screen with Vicky, adding to the excitement surrounding the project. Backed by Maddock Films and Dinesh Vijan, the film promises to deliver an epic period drama filled with action, emotion, and grandeur.
Apart from Chhaava, Vicky’s lineup of upcoming projects further cements his position as a bankable star. Reports suggest he might headline Dhoom 4, while another project, Love N War, will see him alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
