Varun Dhawan shoots with 500 back dancers for the track of Kalank

Kalank is the multi-starrer film of Karan Johar. The dream project of Karan is already done with the introductory song where Varun will be seen with 500 back dancers.

Kalank is a dream project of filmmaker Karan Johar that was aspired to be made by his father Yash Johar 15 years back. However, the process couldn't start at that time but, Karan has taken over the project to complete their dream project. While the makers recently announced the star cast of the film that consists of Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.

However, the Varun has already started shooting for the project with an introductory song. A source from the sets of the movie revealed to a tabloid, "Varun began his rehearsals with Remo's team four days before shoot and Kiara joined him on the last two days. In between shots, the actor would catch up on his workouts in a gym specially built on set."

Alia Bhatt is said to join the set today.

Being helmed by Abhishek Verman the film is set in the 1940's with the backdrop of the Partition is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
