Varun Dhawan Shares Raha Kapoor Met Lara, Hints at Alia Bhatt’s Daughter’s First Film Experience

One of Bollywood’s most loved onscreen duos, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, has always impressed fans with their chemistry. Their journey started with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year in 2012. They continued to share the screen in hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Kalank (2019). Now, they are enjoying parenthood with their adorable daughters. Alia, married to Ranbir Kapoor, welcomed Raha Kapoor in 2022. Meanwhile, Varun and Natasha Dalal recently became proud parents to Lara Dhawan. But have Raha and Lara met yet?

In a candid chat with Bollywood Hungama, Varun shared, “Raha and Lara have met, I think. Lara is still very small, but they have met.” Fans now hope Raha and Lara might grow up to be as close as Alia and Varun. As for their next onscreen reunion, Varun revealed they are still searching for the perfect script. “We haven’t found the right fit yet,” he said, adding that their current conversations mostly revolve around their daughters. Isn’t that heartwarming?

While promoting his upcoming film Baby John, Varun also spoke about which of his films he’d want Lara to watch first. Surprisingly, it’s an Alia-starrer! He said, “I think the first one she could watch is Student of the Year. It’s an easy watch for her.” Fans love how Lara will likely enjoy her father’s debut film.

Varun will next be seen in Baby John, directed by Atlee, where he plays a doting father. With his real-life experience as a dad, expectations are high. The film, co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh, releases this Christmas. Meanwhile, Alia is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
