During the Covid-19 crisis, actor Varun Dhawan has been spreading awareness among his social media followers. As the city's population grows, he is seen urging everyone to take precautions and wear masks. He recently posted a humorous Instagram message about how everyone in Mumbai has a friend who has tested positive for the deadly virus.

Arjun Kapoor, Varun's close friend, recently tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a Christmas party at his sister Rhea Kapoor's house.

Varun wrote on his Instagram story, "If you're from Mumbai and your friends aren't Covid positive, you don't have friends."

Varun had just recently wished Arjun a speedy recovery. Arjun had posted a video montage of his 2021 highlights. In addition to the video, he had written, "Thank you very much, 2021. Until 2022, #WorkInProgress" Varun responded to his post by leaving a 'get well soon' message in the comments section.

Arjun's sisters Anshula and Rhea, as well as Karan Boolani, have all tested positive for Covid-19. Everyone is currently quarantined at home.

Meanwhile, Varun, who tested positive for the virus last year, recently finished filming 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' in Moscow with Kiara Advani. Aside from that, he has 'Bhediya' with Kriti Sanon in the works.
