Urfi Javed Breaks Silence on Walking Out of Samay Raina’s Show, Criticizes Contestants for Offensive Remarks

Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent has found itself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Social media sensation Uorfi Javed, who recently appeared as a guest, stormed off the set after facing derogatory comments from two contestants. Breaking her silence, Uorfi slammed the contestants for slut shaming her and revealed the shocking details of what transpired during the episode.

Uorfi took to Instagram to share her ordeal, saying, “I think I missed the memo; nowadays people think it’s cool to abuse or slut shame someone for views. I’m not okay with anyone abusing me or assuming things about my body count for a few minutes of fame.” She explained that one contestant became angry when she questioned his fake disability. “He just abused me on stage in front of so many people,” Uorfi added, calling out the toxic behavior.

Another contestant compared Uorfi to adult film actress Mia Khalifa and passed lewd comments about her presumed body count. Uorfi expressed her disgust, stating, “The next one was trying to be cool by slut shaming me and comparing me to Mia Khalifa. It’s not cool.” She admitted regretting not confronting the individuals at the time but stressed that such behavior should never be normalized.

Uorfi's walkout reflected her disappointment not only with the contestants but also with the show’s host, Samay Raina, who reportedly did not intervene during the incident. This lack of action allowed the situation to escalate, leaving Uorfi feeling unsupported and disrespected.

This isn’t the first time India’s Got Latent has courted controversy. Previously, Samay Raina faced backlash for roasting Kusha Kapila over her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia. The latest incident once again raises questions about the boundaries of comedy and the responsibility of creators in ensuring respect for all participants.
