Uorfi Javed reveals the REAL reason behind NOT making a debut at Cannes 2025: 'After so many rejections…'

Uorfi Javed hadn't been posting on social media much lately. Now, she's explained why she's been less visible. In a heartfelt message on Instagram, the famous content creator talked about the hard times she's been going through. She honestly shared that a few setbacks had made her feel down.

She prompted her supporters to share their stories of rejection, penning, "Every setback is a chance for growth, if you examine it closely."

I haven't been uploading anything or being seen anywhere 'cause I was going through a phase. My business didn't work. I tried a bunch of other different things only to face rejections. I got an opportunity to go to Cannes through Inde Wild. (big big thank you to diipa khosla and kshitij kankaria) But as fate would have it, my visa got rejected. I was working on a few crazy outfit ideas. My team and I were very disheartened. I'm sure a lot of you guys must be going through rejections yourself, and I would love to know your stories

After rejections, feeling dejected and crying over it is normal. In fact healthy. Even I do cry but what happens after? Every rejection is an opportunity if you look carefully. After so many rejections in life, I ain't stopping and so shouldn't you," she shared.
