Actor Udit Shukla, who currently plays the role of Kiran Sawant, a villain in the popular TV show 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' (GHKPM), says he shares a good bond with co-stars Bhavika Sharma and Ankita Khare on the sets.
He said I'm enjoying my shoots for my current role as Kiran. It is completely an evil role compared to what I got to essay in my previous projects. Though my on-screen chemistry with the heroine, Savi Chavan (Bhavika Sharma), is not good but off-camera, we connect well. I also connect well with Ankita (Khare), who plays the role of my on-screen wife, Harini Deshpande. I mostly shoot with them, and we share a really good chemistry, and our scenes come out brilliantly. They are super sweet and talented girls."
Udit enjoys playing a negative role. He added, "I always loved essaying negative roles. I played an antagonist many times before in my previous show. But here, this time, my role is pure evil. I never essayed such a role before. It is a layered, challenging role as my character Kiran is very unpredictable and can do any nonsense; I enjoy the suspense behind the playing.
He compared his role with a Chameleon.ALSO READ: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Savi embarks on a treasure hunt. Is this part of Ishaan's plan?
"My role in the story is very prominent as he owns the scene whenever he is in the frame. No one is sure about his whereabouts and plans. He is actually just like a Chameleon who changes according to his own convenience."
Udit was last seen in the TV show 'Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein' and has also acted in shows like 'Dhhai Kilo Prem', and 'Rangrasiya' among others.
'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' was a loose adaptation of the Bengali series Kusum Dola. It formerly starred Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma Bhatt. Since June 2023, it stars Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora and Sumit Singh as second generation.
