Kochi, Oct 16 (IANS) Malayalam film 'Twenty Twenty' is unique in many ways - not only has it a record 65 film personalities who acted for free for a cause, it also brings together two superstars - Mammootty and Mohanlal - after eight years.

'The film has already become a part of the Malayalam film history and when it is released, it will be a historic occasion,' said former actress Manju Warrier, who is married to actor Dileep, at the audio release function here.

The film, produced by Dileep and directed by Joshi, is made for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). All the artiste have come together in the film to set up a fund for helping those artistes who are ailing and also to strengthen their pension fund.

AMMA president and veteran character and comedy artiste Innocent said it was a huge challenge to make the film. 'The challenge has been met successfully and we will in future also take more challenges.'

Incidentally, this is the first film in which all the mega stars including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Dileep are working together. Mammootty and Mohanlal were last seen together in 'Narashiman' in 2000.
