#TRPToppers: 'Yeh Rishta...'& 'Kumkum Bhagya' Beat 'Naagin 2' This Week

We literally had an extremely dull period last week where there were barely any changes at all in the ratings and the positions. But, to our surprise, there are major developments this week where Naagin 2 not only gets kicked off from the top slot, but could not even make in the Top 2. Yes! That's right.

Let's sum up this rather surprising week...

Probably the one show which has not faced a 'change' this week, as Shani maintains its 10^th spot and doesn't undergo a change in the numbers too, fetching 1.7 points this week.

Surprise Surprise! The unimpressive performance of several shows has led to the surprising 1^st time entry of Star Plus' Naamkarann. The show faced a massive hurdle as it lost veteran Reema Lagoo aka Dayavanti owing to her sudden demise. However, ever since its launch, the show has now managed to enter the Top 10 for the first time with 1.7 points.

Another huge surprise as 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is BACK in the list. Unlike Naamkarann, this did not happen due to the dismal performance of others. The show got a huge jump in the numbers going on to fetch 1.8 points and thus coming back in the list at 8^th spot.

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' remains rock steady yet again as it maintains the 7^th spot this week too. However, it surely has faced a decline in the numbers, garnering 1.8 pints as compared to 2.0 points last week.

One again, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' holds the 6^th spot to itself like last week, and only faces a minor drop in the rating, going on to fetch 2.0 points this week.

While 'Taarak Mehta...' and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' maintained their spots, they did face a decline in ratings; 'Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii' on the other hand, not only holds the 5^th spot but also maintains its viewership this week with 2.1 points.

Zee TV shows haven't left the Top 5 race as 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs' maintains its 4^th spot with ease, also fetching 2.4 points. The show's continued success has led to the channel granting it an extension.

Well Oh Well! History is certainly re-written as for the first time since inception, Naagin 2 has dropped to the 3^rd spot. Yes! That's right. After being dethroned from the top spot a few weeks ago, this is a real surprise that the number 3 is associated with Naagin 2 as it fetches 2.9 points.

Naagin 2's loss becomes a gain for 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' as it makes the most of the former falling in numbers. Also the viewership for 'Yeh Rishta...' saw a substantial hike which went from 2.7 to 2.9 points this week.

And once again, Kumkum Bhagya kicks everyone else to grab the Top spot this week, fetching 2.9 points.

It has surely been a week of ups and downs literally for all the shows in the list, where we saw a re-entry, a NEW entry and history being created too..
