Thumbs Up:

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa-2: The second season has flagged off in great style. Adorning its new look, the first week has definitely lived upto the expectations of the viewers. With off-beat celebrities like Mir Ranjan Negi and Cyrus Brocha…this season ensures total masti and dhamaal.

Sangam: Star's new venture Sangam is heading strong. The main protagonist Ganga, has a very well etched character... while she cares about others and is willing to sacrifice, she knows where to draw the line and would not let those whom she doesnt trust take control over here. Following her love to Mumbai...we hope the serial continues to perform well and entertain the viewers.

Prithviraj Chauhan:This off-beat serial is doing really well today, where the reality shows are pulling in the crowds. Its viewers remain faithful to it and the actors Rajat Tokas and Mughda Chapekar continue to give their best.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007: The journey of the final 3- Aneek,Raja and Amanat have come a long way and now they are going to face their toughest and the most crucial challenge in the coming week, as one among the 3 will be crowned the winner of the Sa re ga ma pa challenge 2007. Last week saw the exit of the pocket-size power house Poonam of Ismail Darbar's Yalgar gharana. Following that, the episode with the Om Shanti Om stars is sure to have left its mark. The performances by the 3 challengers and Deepika grooving to their tunes...this week is a definite thumbs up.

Banoo Main Teri Dulhann:Even though BMTD featured in Thumbs Up & Down last week, we couldnt help but include it again. The story track is going great and the viewers have been provided with whatever they wished for. Sagar and Vidya's reunion..Sindhura's plan failing, Vidya's 5 o clock secret, nothing has disapointed us.

Thumbs Down:

Kaajjal: This show had lost its shine during the period of Surveen and Apurva and now with the new entrants and the new track, its not helping them in any way. Even though the story gives way to mystery which almost every one likes, and questions relating both the Kaajjal's...the new actors are not able to bring it out to the audience with sophistication and conviction.

Teen Bahuraniyan: This is the perfect example of a show which started off really well..but with time lost its essence. There is no major attraction left in this serial which would pull the viewers towards it. The creative team needs to pull out a real ace from their pockets to help this little kitten out.

Maayka:This serial has totally lost its charm. Track that is being pulled unnecessarily, couples in love being separated and the new twist in the tale being that the character played by Parmeet Sethi isn't really positive. This show needs to get revamped...and the main focus being on the story. Anybody who is interested in some social service, contact Zee with a fresh and refreshing story.

Kumkum: And it continues....after the mass actor change...there has been a character change. Juhi Parmar isn't Kumkum anymore and Sumit is just running all around to find his Kumkum. After so many years of entertainment, this show has sunken below its dignity. But well, we atleast are happy for Juhi that she got to prove her versatality in this serial itself, portraying so many double roles and disguises in Kumkum's entire life.

Bhabhi: Bhabhi's have changed over time, but nothing has been able to change its fate. Even with the entry of versatile actress Gurdeep Kohli,..this serial remains unnoticed.

LoLo @LoLo 16 years ago I totally agree with your picks(atleast the shows I watch). Dulhann has really come thru for viewers and Maayka's firing and then replacing of all the actors has caused the demise of this show. It is going nowhere fast. TB has too many people and too many stories, but really nothing is interesting about any of them. I don't know that I ever thought this show was good, but I guess it did have potential. Anyway, I love the thumbs up and down and look forward to it every week.
