This 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor just won at Scrabble at the National level!

'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' has a hidden master of words. And, it's Sumeet Sachdev! 

The actor just won the 3rd place at a National level Scrabble tournament. We got into a chat with him and it led to some interesting details. 

When asked how it all went down, Sumeet told us, "What most people don't know is that Scrabble is a serious sport. I'm an infant in the competition and it's a surprise that I even won." 

The actor told us he is new to competitive Scrabble (2 months old) and yet he managed to beat contenders who've been in it longer. He did practice playing with his mother when he was little and then online as a teenager. 

We asked if he played with his 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-stars and he said, "I played quite a lot on the sets with Anita Hassanandani who's pretty good at it and Neena Kulkarni. Infact, I was like her guru". 

The actor also has a favourite word to spell out "It's spaczky." 

He added, "For me, it's all about the words and not the meaning"
