This SHELVED Shashi-Sumeet production on Star Plus all set to be REVIVED

Producers, Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal are currently on a high as three of their shows, Dil Se Dil Tak, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai are going guns blazing on the tube.

However, amidst all this, the producer couple were in the plans of remaking the Hollywood sitcom, Last Man Standing in India.

Things were on the move as the pilot was shot with Vinay Pathak and Barkha Singh in lead roles and was set to be telecast on Star Plus.

But, the project never took off and was ultimately shelved later.

After over a year, the project is all set to be revived and this time around, Bollywood biggies like Chunky Pandey and Jackie Shroff have been approached to play the titular role.

Jackie's dates seem difficult, while Chunky is yet to respond. Actress, Supriya Pathak was approached to play the female lead, but she has declined the offer.
