This is what Deepika has to share about 'Chhapaak'

After Padmavat Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has another ace up her sleeves. The actress received immense love and appraisal for her character in Padmavat and her performance on screen. She is currently working hard for her upcoming film Chhapaak which might leave the audience shattered but it also claims to lift up the human spirit!

Deepika will be bringing the real-life account of Laxmi Aggarwal, an acid attack survivor, on the screen. Sharing about the same with her fans, Deepika Padukone took it to her social media handle and shared a picture that read "A story of trauma and triumph and the unquashable human spirit".

Deepika Padukone is co-producing the movie with Fox Star. Adding to it, Vikrant Massey has been roped in to play the male lead opposite Deepika in the film. The movie is slated to release in March 2019.
