This is how Naira will prove Kartik's innocence!

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has broken the hearts of many. Reason- Akshara (Hina Khan) has died, Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) have parted ways as Naira and Naitik (Vishal Singh) feel that Akshara is no more because of Kartik.

It so happens that Akshara is hit by a car which is assumed to be driven by Kartik. And Kartik too hits someone and meets with an accident. Everyone put two and two together and everyone, including Naira, Naitik, and Kartik's parents assume that it was Kartik who hit Akshara.

But Naira soon comes to know that there were two cars at the spot where Akshara was hit and not one. This makes Naira more curious and she digs in deep. And this is when she lays her hands on some really solid proof.

Naira gets a call from one of Kartik's friend Manas, who confesses to her that it was they who spiked Kartik's drinks and not Kartik who drank alcohol that day. They also inform her that they hid his bike keys and hence he had to drive his (Manas) car.

Knowing this, Naira visits the garage where Manas' car is kept and meets the mechanic in charge. The mechanic there, tells Naira that the car that Kartik was driving collided with a stone and not a person. He goes on to tell Naira that the car was in slow speed and hence the airbags did not pop out.

Armed with this information, Naira rushes to bail out Kartik. Will she be able to provide the necessary proofs and prove Kartik innocent? Will Naira and Kartik now patch up? And the main question - who is Akshara's culprit?
